  • Wow! I Can't belive it is a hand made model. Awesome truck, you should patent the chasis design, and sell it as a serie truck.

  • it rides good keep it up dude:)

  • would that body fit an e-maxx? im really diggin your set-up. nice work

  • No, it's far larger than an E-maxx. Chassis would need about a 6" stretch.

  • Thats pritty sweet !!! Twin titan 550 12 turn!! I love the set up I just recently Had the bug bite me again I had an old Radio shack 1:6 Tundra I just put a 550 titan 23 turn (E-maxx) motor in it and its alright alot better than stock. Was looking to do somthing like this thanx for the step by step

  • that hing is huge

  • thats the best thing ever

  • wow, very neat would have a lot of grunt as well

  • good job

  • CONGRATULATION you work fine !really!

  • thanks for the good feedback guys. It is more of a monster truck, was never meant to be a rock crawler per-se. It is fun to drive on the rocks though. I started with indepenedent suspension, but i used solid axles for a more scale look and ride, as well as better suspension travel. Indies gave me 4in or so, the set up now can swing almost 6 depending on the tires.

  • its a good thing your kitten knocked off you second version otherwise you would havenever gotten to the current chassis!

  • NICE Job !!!

One of the best home made projects i have ever seen.

    Try adapting independent suspension.

  • yeah the original set up was independent. i have followed this truck since day one and im glad i did cause this is the BEST homemade truck i have seen to date!

  • Looks more of a rock crawler. If that's what you were going for.... Would lower the body down more, and it would be awesome. (For me at least ;))

  • no, more of a scaler. :) Version 2 is posted around here somewhere - lower and more scale.
