@valleart 1st of all your going by the English word instead of the Hebrew of the original. That particular word can be translated "Was" or "Became" depending on the context & 1 more that I never can remember as it is not important. The same wording is used in Jeremiah and there is is shown to be "Became" . So depending on who is translating & their bias or disposition, "became" makes more sense when looking at the rest of scripture and understanding many of the things it explains.

Chuck's Genesis Series was done a year after this video. In it he gives the biblical reasons why he doesn't believe in the gap theory. If I recall, one point was from Exodus 20 ...because in the beginning God made them male and female. He made the earth in the beginning and he made man at the same time frame. The main REASON for even needing a gap theory is from non-biblical indoctrination of a secular theory.
@dmgklg -- I think it's debatable. But there can be no debate that angels existed before the creation of the Earth. At that point, we know there is a history of the creation that we are not given in the Bible (the lives of angels before the creation of the earth, the fall of lucifer, etc.) I just don't know how that can be denied looking at the plain meaning of Scripture. The third layer down is the Coconino Sandstone. It came from wind blown, desert sand. A flood didn't put it there.
Erosion mark? The Grand Canyon IS an erosion mark, the river made it by erosion over the last 6 million years. Before that the layers were lower and plate tectonic pushed them up to 8000 feet above sea level.

As for a prior creation, it may surprise many to know that various Apocraphyl sources (which often reflect 'common' beliefs in time) hint at "cycles of creation" (the inhaling & exhaling of God, etc). The Bible makes it clear that "free-will" corrupted His creation now, why couldn't a prior one be corrupted? Are we so arrogant to believe that ALL of God's experiences are in our little Bibles?

Reference to fallen angels who aspire to be like God, or 3. Reference to human rulers who aspire to be like God (whether in position or by intellectual arrogance). However, it NEVER says God,as creator (the cause of the singularity which created time & space) is a "shared" position.

The Gap theory is an anti-Christ doctrine. To make it a reality, one is forced to interpret a prophecy about Jesus' first coming (Dani 9:26-27) and make it the work of some mysterious anti-Christ figure. Then there is the problem with the continuous 490 years, which Missler conveniently glosses over. And because Missler is well spoken, he tends to influence others with ease.

@valleart 1st of all your going by the English word instead of the Hebrew of the original. That particular word can be translated "Was" or "Became" depending on the context & 1 more that I never can remember as it is not important. The same wording is used in Jeremiah and there is is shown to be "Became" . So depending on who is translating & their bias or disposition, "became" makes more sense when looking at the rest of scripture and understanding many of the things it explains.

But later N the Bible GOD tells of satans fall & it most likely caused the universe which satan managed 4 GOD to fall at the same time as Sin entered the Universe at that time and ruined GODS Creation. Chuck's Genesis Series was done a year after this video. In it he gives the biblical reasons why he doesn't believe in the gap theory. If I recall, one point was from Exodus 20 ...because in the beginning God made them male and female. He made the earth in the beginning and he made man at the same time frame. The main REASON for even needing a gap theory is from non-biblical indoctrination of a secular theory.

At that point, we know there is a history of the creation that we are not given in the Bible (the lives of angels before the creation of the earth, the fall of lucifer, etc.) I just don't know how that can be denied looking at the plain meaning of Scripture. Not only that, but sea shells are often found at the tops of mountains without an ocean in sight.
This may not prove anything, but it's certainly evidence in favor of the Biblical account.

The third layer down is the Coconino Sandstone. It came from wind blown, desert sand. A flood didn't put it there.
Erosion mark? The Grand Canyon IS an erosion mark, the river made it by erosion over the last 6 million years. Before that the layers were lower and plate tectonic pushed them up to 8000 feet above sea level.
Read a Geology book.
Mt. Fuji is a volcano, I bet a flood made that too.

The fall of Satan occurred in Gen 3:14 when God pronounced sentence upon him; Because thou hast done this... upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life. Looks like a fall to me!
Angels are "ministering spirits"(Heb 1:14) and with all Satan's wisdom ,beauty and pride, I don't think he like the idea of serving Man so he set a trap to cause Man's fall but it backfired on him!
Ps.7:14, He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

Genesis 3:1 also points to Satan being created during the six days of creation; "the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made". Notice the serpent which is Satan(Rev.12:9) has been included in with the beast of the field which the Lord God "had made" which puts the creation of Satan during the six day creation. It also suggest that the other beast of the field, that the serpent was more subtle than, were other angels in the garden of Eden. See Ezekiel 31

If Satan was created and fell during some gap between Gen 1:1 and 1:2 why did God tell him, "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee" (Eze 28:15). That says from the "day" thou was created. There was no such thing as a "day" until God spoke the first day into existence in Gen 1:5. Why would God allow a fallen angel with iniquity into Paradise? I say He didn't! Satan was perfect until he caused Man to sin in Gen.3, this is when he falls.

@cantorpregadorluis is that so then why in jeramia when God spoke about the fall of saten "he said he cast him down befor the kingdoms of the time" what dose that mean? we know that saten fell befor adum and eve. and God has never called the earth a wilderness after he created Adum, He said it was good. But yet in job isaia they did mention befor adum and eve. You can't just read the bible you have to READ that bible study it.

I submit that Satan fell at the exact moment he tempted Eve by contradicting the Word of God. Contradict:...to go against. Until this point, Satan was perfect. AIWS, Chuck is a great teacher but he makes mistakes. His 2nd biggest mistake is the Septuagint... a myth. Jesus read a Hebrew scroll, not Greek.

If Satan had no sin in the garden then for what reason would he temp Eve with evil? Sin and Death started with Lucifer and his rebels, then Adam. "For by one MAN sinned ENTERED the world" (Social order) of humanity. In order for something to enter it must first exist. Sin was found in the heart of Lucifer not in Eve. Eve was tempted with evil then Adam. Thus sin ENTERED the realm of man.

@BCJ5297 Satan had no sin UNTIL he tempted Eve. Sin and death entered into the world by MAN not Satan, (Romans 5:12) though Satan was the instigator. I'm just saying that scripture says Satan was in the garden and was perfect. (Eze 28:15) Scripture cannot be speaking of anyone but Satan there. If he was perfect, he was without sin. Ergo, he didn't sin until after Adam and Eve were in the garden. My conjecture is the sin of Satan occurred simultaneously with his temptation of Eve. It fits.

That doesn't follow the scripture cause we read that iniquity was in his heart; he fell because of pride. Point being his first sin according to Scripture was pride not in the temptation of Eve. If he was still holy then he would not have tempted Eve. Thus, sin came upon the human race (the Social Order of man). Sin already existed cause iniquity was found in him already. He then passed sin on to man and took the keys until Christ took them back. Remember there are 4 Gardens in Scripture.

@BCJ5297 ..3 gardens....Eze 28 and Gen are the same "Eden". There is no support for two Eden's. That pride was already present in Satan before creation contradicts scripture. Scripture says he was perfect while in the Garden of Eden. Also when did "time" begin? Missler will tell you time began after the fall...and I would agree. Satan is not a man. He is the most powerful angel ever made. I'm saying the instant pride was born (for want of a better word) in Satan, he tempted Eve. It still fits.

Believe what u want but the text doesn't support it. If it was the Adamic Eden then why isn't Adam mentioned who was put there and was perfect. Second, Adam was given dominion yet the Garden Lucifer was in says he had a throne which is a symbol of dominion. Plus the King of Tyre was the power behind the Prince of Tyre. Adam had no relation to Tyre. Pride before Adam and Eve in Lucifer doesn't contradict scripture cause sin came by Adam to all men. Is Lucifer a man?

@BCJ5297 you are confusing the man king of Tyre with Satan...an angel *power* of Tyre. Eze is a dual prophecy. Give me BCV on Satan's throne being in a garden....is Rev 2:13 in a garden? You're ignoring Satan was/is an angel and ALL the sons of God were in unity, shouting for joy at the creation. (Job 38:7) ALL means ALL....no exceptions. Satan could not have fallen before the creation....unless you'd rather follow Missler than God's Word......even Missler oft says Acts 17:11 applies. BESIDES..

Job:38:4: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding........Job:38:7: When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

@crazy650c Yes, Lucifer was among those angels that sang together during the creation of the earth (Gen 1:1). This is not the 6 days! The reason it can't be the 6 days cause the scripture said "In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth" Read Isa 45:18. At some point after God had created Earth and the Heavens Lucifer rebels. Then the earth is formless and void which in the original language reflects a Judgement and Jer 4: 23-26 confirms this! 2 Pet 3: 5-6 reflects this also.

@BCJ5297....continued.....IF you're gap theory was correct...THEN...God could not remake the earth and/or universe out of the same material because it was NO LONGER HOLY. It was cursed and needed to be redeemed...just as the earth and all creation groans for it's redemption now (Rom 8:22) The character of God does not allow him to simply forget/absorb/magically poof out of existence that which is unholy. The price must needs be paid....and according to the gap theory...it was not paid.....sooo

@BCJ5297...so it is not possible there were two earths. For nothing holy can be made out of that which is unholy. See: the entire book of Leviticus. And the earth was holy until man sinned and the curse came upon all creation. AIWS....I figure you're just arguing for the sake of it....not because a gap makes sense..... because it does not.
