HI, Thanks for this great video. I try the same setup on my eyefinity rig. My res is 5976x1080 and with a fov calc from WSG i have 5.533333 as ratio aspect. Do you think that this value is correct ? And could you tell me what will be the value for Snap[9][13]["viewAngle"]. Can use 219.777544238285. If not could you give me the value for my setup and tell me how to calculate ? Thanks in advance for your reply.
What kind of framerate are you getting? I have an i7 920 at 3.8GHZ, 6GB RAM, and 2x 6870's. I just tried a couple of the training missions with mostly medium graphic settings, 1 screen selected, and I believe ~5.4 aspect ratio. It still seemed fairly choppy... I do have crossfire enabled currently. Does DCS work better with crossfire disabled?
@Pular Thanks for taking the time to comment - I already tried it in portrait at 3600X1920. Personally, i much prefer it this way with a fov change so i'll probably just leave it as is. Plus i've been playing Dirt3 on it too and i find it nicer in landscape mode
@StudiosCPS DCS Blackshark is an air combat simulator for the PC. This and Flaming Cliffs 2 are the best out there. Take a look at my other video for Flaming Cliffs 2 if you like combat jets more than helicopters
@ZorgDK I don't mean this sim in particular. For instance. An online game called Rift actually runs smoother with vsync off. Universally i like to try to have vsync on so it syncs to your monitor frequency

You should lay the monitor vertically and use portrait setting. That would fix the stretching issue.

hi, do you know if vsync works when you use eyefinity?
ZorgDK 1 year ago
@ZorgDK I believe it does work.. Try vsync on & off to see what works best. sometimes its better off than on & vice versa

@XysteRST205 ok thanks, although i disagree that it would sometimes be better to have vsync off.
