  • Wow... Amazing...

How do you make those sort of clouds near the planets?

By the way, is it only me or the background music sounds a lot like Titanic's theme?

  • man 3:22 has just a ridiculous attention to detail. I can tell you render and render until you perfect your image, and its just brilliant. I have the same mentaility, but no where near the skill. haha :) if you dont have any tuts, you should make some!

  • Well done.

  • for those who says you're a bad artist, well eat your hearts out!

what was that? that was crazy... you are brilliant and very artistic. you deserve an applause.

  • Could you please give me he title of the first Song?

Your artwork looks good, but there are some things, you could do better. Of course, I can´t judge you, because I don´t use photoshop, so I don´t know, how easy, or hard it is to work with that programm.

  • Can you hyporcam a quick tutorial to show us how to get the stars on photoshop?? :) (I've always been curious. ) Good job!

  • Dude, thats awesome!!! Make a tutorial on how to make nebulas!!

  • Hey not to be a spoil sport. But your star fields are a bit harsh. You have so many stars in what looks like streams in the sky. Yet the black area surrounding these star clusters are pure black, but if you look at true astronomy, there are stars covering everything. ! They have different brightness and opacity levels than each other.! I think if you implemented that into some of these pieces it would most definitely look better. Good work by the way, Keep it up.

  • i love it keep it up

  • thats some pretty good work. The only thing I can really say is alot of the images are monocromatic. I'd just try to keep in mind adding a little more contrast sometimes, like at 2:41 with the dieing planet or whatever contrasting the background pure AWESOMENESS!

All in all great work, keep it up.

  • i love to make things in photoshop too. how did u do the asteroid? that thing is AMAZING!

  • You draw this planets and galaxy pictures in photoshop? Amazing! Photoshop is one of my big hobbies too =D.

Have you ever been thinking about uploading a speed-up makeof-video to one of your paintings? This would be very interesting!

  • Hi, tank you.

I've got a video that is not speed-up but you see how I create a single planet.

    watch?v=JBxT1HXM8eQ

Thats a part of the link or just take a look into my account.

  • I was looking for tutorial on how to do this planetary art. Cause I just started doing PS. That was Rad!

  • These are pretty nice :P

Some freindly advice would be to try and make the star clusters a little more realistic. 5 stars :P

  • Well I can create nebula... but this is fantastic!!! First question: How do you do such fantastic nebulas?, second question: How long do you have ca. for such a pic?

  • Thank you. I brush the nebulas, use often clouds and linear lighten.

I need between 40 minutes and 5 hours. If I just use old techniques without trying new stuff, I'm often need just one hour.

  • Irish music goes well to space for some reason. nice work, you've come far, and there's still far to go :) keep at it.

If you can't goto space in real life, Goto space in Photoshop instead!

  • yh its gud but you do need to get a out a bit more

  • Omg! ur pictures is amazing! do u think that u could you make tutorials for some of the pictures? i realy like dem :D

  • NEVER TEACH SITLL POST

  • What do you mean?

  • you are very good at what you do. 1:22 is cool with the ice planet :)

  • could you make tutorials for some of ur favorites? i rly dont know how to make them but i'd rly want to learn!

  • amazing :D

  • By the way i really like that blue meteor picture, how did you do that?

  • Hm, first make with the lasso tool and make the body of your meteor.

  • Than use Filter > Render > Diffclouds, press ctrl+f till you get the groundtexture you want.

    After that, Filter > Stylize > Emboss, Angle:0 Heigth 3, Ambount 500.

Duplicate the layer and set the upper layer on linear light.

At the end press ctrl+t and transform it in the right position and angle. Just brush some clouds in and behind the meteor.

I hope you understand my word's and my thank's going to the first person who set up a tutorial where he explain the way. But I'm sorry

  • I don't find it anymore.

  • quick question, are u making these pictures from scratch?

  • I'm sorry, I don't understand your question.

What do you mean with "scratch"?

Scratching the texture? I brush it with a stonetexture.

  • he means did you make it from nothing or did you get a picture and modify it

  • Oh tank you.

    I make it from nothing.

I start with new and then with a black background.

You could see it on my other video "RE: How To Make A Quick Planet."

It's just a small picture aber an example.

  • Edit: It's just a small picture BUT an example.

  • Thats really cool i like your pictures, really impressive stuff, i made a few myself using photoshop but there not as good as yours yet

    Good work =)

  • nah man seriously i have nothing to say!! its just soo beautiful and looks sooooo REAL how the hell did u do this man i guess ur dream was a good1 to follow!! u should get a job at creating things like this!! u could earn so much money!

  • sorry cant put a comment speechless amazing mate :)

  • Great artist... I'm from Brazil and appreciate your art... Congratulations...

Watch my video of dance... and coment...

    Thanks...

  • may I ask you how you get the rocky crater texture to these wonderful pictures? Like the texture on the large ringed planet on 3:21?

And also what tool you use to add the shadow. Thank you so much, ive watched both of you videoes and it gave me the inspiration to start making space pictures. you have given me a feeling when i watched these videoes, and

you will have my greatest respect for that. The music sounds perfect to the video.

  • Thank you, I try to answer you're questions as good as I can:

    1. The shadow of the planet is just brushed. Grab a blur brush in the size 300 or bigger. Then just brush it gently over your planet. After some try's you fix it out.

    2. To make rocky crater's on the planet is a long way. If I describe it now, I would write a whole page. But I'm working on a whole tutorial where I am going to describe it.

Sorry for my bad englisch - Arthy

  • awsome.

    -subscribed

  • Great work! Whats the music?

  • Tank you.

It's "Fields of Athenry, from some random celtic music CD."

  • Your welcome!

    And thanks haha :]

  • Wow. Thats amazing. I loved every single picture. And I must know what song you used. So relaxing.

  • WOW, that is AMAZING!!!

May I ask you what is the name of the song used :)

  • Tank you.

It's "Fields of Athenry, from some random celtic music CD."

  • Thanks

I watched it, at least 20 times :D ... again it is GREAT GREAT

  • Tank you again ;)

If you want you can watch my second video, too.

    Galactic Dreams 2

  • at 2:53 there's an earth-like planet =D

  • Aye

  • Hello man, I returned here to see the movie again, I used it to my presentation as I said and people loved it, I told them who made it and linked them here. Thanks again!

  • Thank you too

  • at 1:32, how do you do that rougher blur? i do mine with radial blur but it comes out smoother than i want it

  • what kind of texture do you use for your planets? I use the difference clouds, but the texture isn't as interesting as your planets...

  • You have to brush it, just set your tool on color dodge and give it a structure. Like a picture from a rock.

Be sure that your planet got a underground color, like a deep blue and then just start brushing.

  • Very nice. I love the deep colors

  • Aw hell man I love them all but 3:22 was the best. Please tell me the name of the song :D.Oh yeah, don't forget about that tutorial.

  • nice mowie clip and song wery god i lowe this song

  • I'm still working on a tutorial. It's very tricky and need's a lot of work.

I hope I finish it in the next time.

And thank you for the comments.

  • These are the best, teach me please!

  • My goodness...have we all had the same enlightenment? I have been painting the planets from our own solar system (in oil)from about 2000 onwards. Have just completed one of Jupiter. Maybe its time we all woke up to the fact there are other worlds beside our own...

  • some are good . but i can make too . im a talanted (like u) but only that im Texture effects :) i use also ur kinda effects on my masterpieces ^^ great work 1!

  • How do you download hese pics?

By the way, very nice, and very talented

  • wow that was amazing

  • I like the last one, but keep practicing, you can improve alot more!

  • that for music play?

  • Thank you for all the nice comments! In cause of them I loadet up part 2. Enjoy it and also rate and comment.

  • Your video is very nice and relax, I loved it, please show more like this

  • Your awesome dude , great job . Can I use this for a PowerPoint presentation ?

  • If u really did this,then u are a pro;could u put a video tutotial on how to create a space rock,or a planet with full detalis.

  • how could anyone say that ur bad? lol U ARE AMAZING

  • wow, really awsome. i know for a fact that it is pretty hard to work with photoshop, cause i do it myself. so very nice job there.

and BTW did u spherize the planets, cause i didnt see if u had done that in the video. great job

  • lol jrod

  • gimme your talent :D :D :D

seriously wow, i'd definitley watch your tut's :)

  • Sehen very very nice aus...

  • well try to work on the star background, its not realistic, also the planets looks a bit hmm flat ?

  • cool

  • thank you

  • nice pics, but...a little 'deep' there in the beggining anyway 5\5
