  • There are fields beneath the streets.

  • What changed? It is Jan 2008 - No big change.

But the world economy is crashing fast enough anyway.

The next 2-3 years, you will get your chance in the sun.

  • Human evolution is still going strong: cf. theatre rocks in Paris this year, Têtes Raides new album is even better, Alan Cumming was Dionysis in NYC's Deathstar, Maguy Marin got booed by pre-Lacanian idiots in New York, and Alois Zimmerman conquered Big Apple plutocrats in their own bunker.

So the "Human Project" is thrivin--hand over fist--and the empty neo-Liberal husk is... an empty husk.

Stay viciously smart and win, 'cause the suits are way limited! Like, stupid!

  • The time for talking and negotiating is over. They've ignored us for too long. Even the protests haven't made a big enough impact, they should spread these demonstrations world wide. One day where every city rebels against it's government. The only problem is fear, no one will join unless there are hundreds of others or there's something hiding the true purpose of the actual rebellion.

  • I look forward to the day society falls. Good luck to all of you, may you choose the right side, for yourself not for the majority.

  • It came to pass comrades! Now l'ivresse du pouvoir is inventing a wackier version where polluters plead about global warming, pharmaceutical genocide is accepted as structural, mass murderers TVdebate faith; Sarko's party ..., and Hillary is the "Left."

Are THEY more revolutionary at shifting the terrain? I don't think the lid can stay on this iteration of THEIRS!

  • I'd just like to say that this was a really great video!

Cheers EgoDiversion, you're really good at this!

  • Nice video. Somehow though I really dont think the reigning social order is going to be deconstructed in Aug. 2007. But hey, whats better than fighting for ones daydreams anyways?

  • How cute. This kind of anarchy was pioneered by the Boomers in the Sixties, and now their not-so-free-thinking Gen-X/Y kids are attempting to mimic the egoic self-aggrandizement of their mommies and daddies. Yet the majority of Sixties protests weren't motivated by higher ideals of creating peace on earth. They were driven by the teenage ego's battle cry, "Nobody tells me what to do!" If we want to create a better world, angrily breaking down Big Brother's Lego tower isn't the solution...

  • MAYBE YES...MAYBE NO.

  • I call this video, no matter how well intentioned it may be, "The Failure." Why? Because it's completely juvenile in nature and the thinking behind it is even dangerous. Basically, it's a romantic portrayal of anarchy advocating violence. It's just destructive behavior masked as idealism. If you want to do something to help the world don't do this, it actually doesn't help, it makes things worse. This is the kind of thing that makes Ghandi roll in his grave.

  • Ghandi was ok with blowing up trains transporting weapons for the soldiers. The silent "symbolic" protest has failed in all the hundreds of years it has taken place. If you want to stop a meeting. Then stop it. Dont expect some distant elite hiding behind 12 kilometers fences and 40.000 police officers to read a banner.

  • I truly agree.

  • And that is what Gandhi suggested, walking peacefully through the police line and seizing the salt mine. I would suggest running through the police line.

  • "on your knees, Citizen!" "Humanism is greater than Nationalism"... only, if with Determined Pacifism, we can make their consciences itch... ┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄ Spread Love, BlueBerry Pick'n can be found @ ThisCanadian com ┄┄ "We, two, form a Multitude" ~ Ovid. ┄┄ "Silent Freedom is Freedom Silenced" ┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄
  • so then you tell us how?!!communicating with each other?

are you actually so naive to think that someone is actually listening? you just cant´t take the meat from the dog without getting bitten.

    so fuck off!

  • Well actually, people do listen. You just have to learn the language. Yes, I do believe the answer is knowing how to communicate with each other and also acting on pure motives. Which isn't to say I think we should all exchange small-talk over the campfire. The point is however is that we are not all dogs, we are humans. The key, I think is understanding what position and perspective humans come from. For that I'd recommend reading up on Spiral Dynamics or Integral theory.

  • I see you haven´t understood my metaphor...the dog thing!!it´s just a way of speech, and now I can recommend you to read a bit of literature...most of all poetry. So what are you trying to say that we all should think in the same way or that no human thinks properly? That no point of view is actually valid?

  • Unfortunately we are all blinded by the thoughts we are already attached to. The dualisms that we create in our mind filters what we see and reduces the complexity of a situation into the categories we've already created. Something like an us vs. them scenario where we are the victims of idiots who don't see as we see. But in reality there are even higher perspectives on the situation that transcend our biased views.

  • THERE IS NO LONGER ANY TIME.

  • I have mixed feelings about this video. On the one hand, it's well-edited, and the sentiment behind it is laudable to say the least. Solidarity on that. On the other hand, I wonder how effective a movie trailer for a demonstration can be, and how much it may turn militant protest into a spectacle for observers to consume, rather than a beautiful action in which all may participate.

  • see you on the barricades ego :)

  • riots starts usually first after police tried to disturb the demonstration..

  • Amazing! However, why does this say August 2007? Isn't the demonstration happening in June? Is there a separate one happening in August? Can anybody answer this?

  • you are right.

    6-8 June 2007.

But they might change the date again.

  • I can hardly wait, somthing tell me its gonna be a riot! (no punn intended)

  • Down with the rulers, direct democracy now

  • That's what I'm talking about

  • Human rights is what western goverments gives people in the western world within the selfdestructive context of capitalist democracy. Do you think that holding signs and working within the systems boundaries can result in anything that aims outside it?

  • Your video is confused. It gives the impression that rioting at a summit will bring down capitalism. It wont. We have to organise in our communities and workplaces.

  • its a piece of info-art to spread the word about a protest.

It is meant for nothing more. What you have gotten out of it really blows my mind. And what makes you think i give a crap about what you think of it?

  • Er cos you've posted it in a public forum and enabled responses?

  • point taken

  • So is it violence or non-violence? i dont think jump kicking a bunch of riot police is the solution to reclaiming our human rights.

  • Thanks.. For more information about the G8 summit 2007 and more riot and resistance videos. Check out

  • This video is idiotic, do you think one spectacular summit protest is going to bring down capitalism? Capitalism is a social relationship based on private ownership of the means of production, while summit protests can be useful for networking and letting off a bit of steam they still re-inforce the idea that capitalism is something out there behind a fence, embodied by 8 men. It's something we need to fight in our communities and work-places.

  • Are you serious?

You really dont get it do you?

  • No dude, just one more big demo at we'll sow all the pigs nad sheeple that theyre living a lie!!111

They showed this at the bookfair, i cracked up. Not everyone else in the room did too, so i walked.

  • impressive video art. i can only hope it has some true prophecy! see you in the streets, comrades!

  • Beautiful

  • Le droit de vivre ne se mendie pas, il se prend. Je ne veux pas mourir avant d'avoir vecu. Libre à nous d'abolir votre monde. See you there!
