the easiest way to take on the thugs is to destroy the first radio you come across. then retrieve the tape and destroy the last raido by the tape. While you're inside the building the thugs come in one at a time, use the duel Desert Sniper 44s, dont worry about headshots with those. two shots and they're usually dead. but for the last few thugs on roofs and different parts of the level, you'll have to hunt them down. JUST KEEP MOVING!!!! Best way to make it to the Par Time.

I really miss this game. I haven't played in a few years. I watched all your SF:OS videos and I miss it even more, now. I am going to get a PS2 tomorrow and hopefully find the game at a local game store. I've never played any game online (except Halo2 at my cousin's place) and I now find that all the games (ps2) that I wanna play online are done/gone. So, with 'jump glitch' the highest rank is T3 right? Or T2? It better be at least a Tsomething. If you (or anyone) plays online INFORM ME please.

@DaveWreckingCrew The highest is a T2. I think it might be possible to reach T3 if you can stop the tank in Belarus and shut down the missile in Ukraine, but I'm not sure if doing those objectives will get you far enough.

@MattyBoy714 Is it possible to do those on your own? I tried stopping the tank, but you have to the jump glitch from the right spot to get up on the ledge under the bridge and if you get on the elevator with Gabe you can get one of the switches, but you only have 30 seconds to get the next one before one of them is canceled.

Stealth ends once you destroy the radio equipment and get the tape. So if a thug sees you it's ok :)

Beating a par time means completing the level and all objectives within a certain amount of time. Almost all my SFOS videos show how to do this.

Tip: you can catch those 2 guys in the house at the tape and radio part.pack granades for the thugs and carry your own M4 or M16A2..any ways good job with the sniper you got skills.

You unlock these by getting enough non-lethal kills. Just go around stunning people with the stun jack, and it shouldn't take too long.

Also, you don't really need DormaGen. You can just shoot them all when they come out of the cars, but it is a little bit more difficult and will take more time.

Sarin gas grenades would work even better there. However, Sarin grenades can't be used in the stealth part, even though it *is* supposed to be a stealth weapon. The best weapons in this level are Neck Snap, Mark 23 pistols, MGL (for the Khorsh thugs -- grenade kills leave their flak jackets intact), Air Pistol (for stealth), Sarin grenades (for the car at the end) and Shuriken (for the first radio).

Yes there is online multiplayer and there are various team objectives you can do, as well as beating missions as a team within a certain time limit.

I haven't played Dark Mirror, though, so I don't know which is better.

Oh I get it. Yes I see what you mean by open-ended and I think Carthage Warehouse District is a really fun Online mission. In that mission i shot the guy on the platform in the water system and he fell on his knees and I didn't have to climb the pipes top get the viral container. Thats the way I got my par for that mission. I'll probably use your guides to get the rest of the pars.

I mean open-ended as in there are multiple paths to take and you can go around doing different things in a different order and still complete the mission on par time.

Because of this, the Warehouse is also a great online mission.

My favorite mission is probably Zurich. I love stealth missions and that one reminded me of Mission Impossible. Only problem is that the level isn't very open-ended (Carthage 2 Warehouse is a great one for that).

Yes I do have BF2 and I think it's a great game. It's definitely worth the $20 it's selling for nowadays, but it is slowly dying since it's been around for almost 3 years I think.

When she shut down all radio communications, she passed the Parameter: Maintain Stealth. Which means after that she do what ever she wants such as being seen with the weapon drawn.

Just one thing more you need on that: Shuriken. If you're playing Yemen 1 and you use the above combination of weapons, then you have no silenced weapon to take out the radios (the Air Pistol doesn't work on the radios; I've tried). Shuriken will do that job.

I kill the bonus guy about 1 minute in on the Kyrgystan 1 video. He's the guy sitting in the corner. You have to aim a little high since the shurikens arc.

I believe the 5-minute timer is how long until backup arrives or until Yushchenko comes. I once thought it was for how long you have to find the tape, but they destroyed it right away.
