  • I learned how to swim when I was 16. I wish I learned when I was much younger though.

  • hebat bgt

  • im the baby

  • sooooooooooo funny cute baby by the way

  • sooo cute! i wish i had a teacher over here on kauai for that. we are in the water alot, but the steps how to help the beby to feel save even under water in a loving way for sure comes not not intutiv to me. but my babe loves the water, and she slowly gets more relaxed if she goes under for a moment :) Would love to learn and even teach.

  • My daughter loves this song - and she wanted to take a bath after watching this like 15 times :)

  • CUTE!!!

  • Took my daughter to similar classes, and taught my sons the same way. No fear of water for them. They have always enjoyed it, and have been safe around family pool and our lake.

  • i love this video who uploaded this

  • I wish my folks woulda invested in this when i was born..im 26 & cant even freakin float!!!!

  • people are pathetic, im now in my teens and ive been swimming since i was that age. I can now swim 2 miles, and its never effected me? so stop being so idiotic and its there choice how they bring up their child. It'll help this little boy in the long run, because what if something bad where to happen at least then he'd no what happens.

  • This looks so scary. Adults are sitting with their faces outside water and baby is thrown in and shown in water for a long time..I would like to see video where your adults teachers or guardians are inside water as much time the babies are.....else it is really like playing with bab's life as baby cannot speak so you can do anything with it..

  • @NewEye2World Just a note to come from another point of view - this isnt unsafe - how often have you heard of babys drowning while learning to swim? From what I see the baby is very close to guardians all the time in this video. Babies love water and most love this. How are you going to learn if you are afraid of going underwater? Babies cannot speak but that doesnt mean they cannot communicate. If a baby didnt like it they would cry or get angry. You dont see that in this video.

  • That Baby IZ Intellegent NCute

    He'sGonna Be A lil Swimmer

  • i wonder if he ever gets ear infections

  • I feel a bit ashamed...

  • @thekingoffutbol You should not :)

  • Omg that's child abuse !!! They throw him in the water and watch to see what happens

  • @mymy1126

Just to let you know we certainly never throw a child in and see what happens. We teach them gradually in a loving caring environment. Starting to teach them to hold their breath and working throguh. We never force children.

  • @awesomem It's a shame that there are so many people in this world who are quick to make stupid judgements like the person did above... and to voice them! These are little children running around youtube posting ignorant comments. What this baby does is awesome, and he obviously enjoys it. I did the same with my son (I also have videos up), and he is a 2 year old swimmer. :-)

  • @mseastbay SO SO TRUE! My parents had me in the water when I was 6 weeks old (I was born in the summer)... I could swim half a length of the pool by the time I was 3 years old and I now teach swim lessons and swam competitively my whole life. I never had a fear of the water thanks to them! :-)

  • @awesomem It is abuse NOT to do this!!! I have been a swimming teacher of children and adults for 14 years now... It is hard for parents to do this with their children but it prevents them from developing a fear of the water, which is an irrational fear that would never develop if MORE people did this. Swimming is an important life skill . The children whose parents got them comfortable in the water as an infant are the more successful swimmers.... and their parents did them a great service!

  • @mymy1126

LOL'D its not child abuse LOOOL

  • @mymy1126 umm did u know infants naturally hold their breath? i mean they did spend 9 months inside their mom's womb.

  • @mymy1126 ur such an idiot as you can see he is swimming these are swimming classes to prevent drowning

  • aww he is so smart

  • And this song helps to calm a teething baby

  • I wish my parents took me to this guy for swimming lessons when I was a baby

  • Great video! I like how you show him through the months

  • This parents are sick weirdooooos...that poor child have no choise in what he is put through...OMG I cant belive it ,they will mentaly damage him that s for sure ,,who says this is cute ??? yeah the baby ..but not what he have to edure ....i hope is not many pushy parents like this out there ,TORTURE theyr babyes ..u must to be MAD.

  • @anca20101 you're joking right? The baby is smiling the entire time, it took me 28 years to learn to be comfortable in the water that baby learned it in 13 months.

  • @anca20101 this guy/girl is bound to be a swim champion, i'm sure he will be more then grateful to his parents for teaching him this earlier, this is not torture

  • He looks so goddamn happy! <3

  • omg!!! the paddling at 1:15!!! Can it get any cuter?! ^0^

  • lovin the music lol

  • He is pretty badass.

  • so cute and intelegent

  • he is so cute!!!!!!

  • Does your baby know how to take a breath?

  • Omg HOw CUte! if only i knew this before i would have gotten my daughter into it

  • makes me want to start teaching my 7 month old how to swim

  • que demais!

  • u should make anpthr vid of your kid swimming now a days

  • i never learned how to swim because i got frustrated and my instructor was going to fast now i am 16 and don't know how to swim

  • @olddogpark better hurry up and learn you might need this survival skill one day.

  • @olddogpark i learnt at 23, you just have to practice on your own, cuz in the end nobody can teach you how to do it, it's a trial and error thing. just go to the pool 2 or 3 times a week and you'll be swimming in a month. there are tons of videos for reference on strokes on youtube so it's really up to you.

  • @olddogpark kinda the same but i kinda taught myself, then this girl talked me into swimming across a river with her and i nearly drowned...lol just look at a video on youtube, maybe you will learn a few things idk.

  • omg sooo cuuute!!!

  • 25 people weirdos who dislike this video.. this is too adorable not to like..

  • AAaaawww beautiful baby :)

  • they are probably swimming like Micheal Phelps!

  • wao es maravilloso como lo hicieron!!

  • This is such a sweet video! What a great example of how infant swimming builds. Especially for places surrounded by water, can you imagine just how helpful this can be? Love it!

  • ahh that's freaking awesome.

should totally get him some goggels tho since he always has his eyes open.

  • is it a mermade??

  • Awesome :D:D

  • Song fits the video..Nice! Wonder what goes inside a babies mind, they seem so happy all the time, pure and pleasant! Very good swimming!

  • This is a very inspirational videoclip of your child.

  • #exinco wow very brilliant, the baby cute too

  • The baby can breathe underwater for so long because it's a similar environment to the womb, and they stayed there for 9 months so, just a fact

    ;)

  • @rjconnolly64 Babies cannot breathe under water. They hold their breath.

  • awwwww soooooo cute i would be crying if i were him ahha lool

  • DIVINOOO!!

  • i love you

  • AAAAAAWWWWWW

  • @QuanVanLuu- yes it is very convenient for the parents for their child NOT to drown. The kid obviously likes it. It's just like studying I'm sure no one likes it at first. And I applaud both the parents and the child:) both did an awesome job. I'm glad they are teaching their child how to swim:) and just because the kid can swim, doesn't mean they will stop watching him in the pool. It's just an extra precaution they took so that their child doesn't drown!!

  • my daughter is 16 months old... can i teache her too? *_* i really would like to

  • Thats pretty cool its really smart to teach kids how to swim when their a baby

  • in shock the whole vid.

  • I finally found it! Michael Phelp's biography from his young years!

  • I finally found it! Michael Phelp's documentary from his young years!

Like a dolphin in the sea

So wont you come and swimm with meeee :D

    My new favourite songg...!♥

  • It's actually one of those medical things. The sooner you get an infant swimming, the better off they are. Infants can actually shut down their lungs just like in the womb. The more land based we are, the sooner we lose that ability.

  • i cringe watching this . hah .

  • Cute! :)

  • Totally awesome!

  • ummmmmmmmmmmm cool as a crab?

  • I love him, he's so cute

  • Great progression!!!!!!

  • he is so cute.im 10 and am just learning

  • wow he even has his eyes open underwater

  • is this real?!

  • Wow thats a cool video :) very talented kid

  • omg thats a funny video.

  • I love your video.

How do you teach the baby not to breath under the water?

  • @beavertown2006 They do it automatically. It's a natural instinct. And when they are 6 months and younger they will swallow the water rather than inhale.

  • @beavertown2006 Up until a certain age babies instinctively know not to breathe through their lungs when surrounded by water. If that reflex is exercised before it fades, they can develop the ability to hold their breath easily in pool situations.

  • @beavertown2006 they have a natural instinct

  • omg that kid held his breath REALLY long ... at the end they just threw him in lol... my lil boy is older and doesn't trust his own buoyancy :(

  • LOL thats too funny..my baby shits his pants when i pour water on him in the bath tub. he hates the swimming pool also.i dont get it..

  • future Navy Seal

  • سبحان الله

  • Totally COOL. That kid rocks. My son was like that too but not that young its fun to see them enjoying the pool then having to be worried about it.

  • wooooooooooooooooooow

  • great

  • I love it! He is so cute :-)! What's the song name?

  • I have to say the baby can really swim! It's amazing what little babys and kids can do!

  • HOLY SHITTT!!!!!

  • waaaw

  • amazing :-)

  • that is so cool that the baby can swim almost perfectley at 16 months!

  • he swims better than me

  • this is the cutest video ever! :)

  • this video candy coated these lessons, only showing videos of when the baby was already comfortable. the lessons are actually torturing for the baby, like i said torturing not dangerous. it's like saying torturing a kid into using guns and the end result he is a professional at it is okay. who here is okay with letting a baby cry so that a parent doesnt need to watch their child. It sounds to me its more beneficial for the parents not the baby. And I applaud their child not their parents.

  • @QuanVanLuu not all baby swim lessons are tortuous. true, some programs force their children under water before they're comfortable, but this program is not one of them. this program is founded on the principal that children should be happy and relaxed in the water before attempting submersions

  • u see as he grows up he will knw wat to do next..

  • im fucking 17 and i dont no how to swim

  • dat baby know how to swim better den my mom she scare of the pool and dat kid is sooo brave

  • nirvana "nevermind" cover

  • dude that baby is like determined even though u could see him kinda struggling he still kept going till he got to the other person good work baby!

  • no b/c they hold there breath just like they were in wome

  • i cant even keep my eyes open under water

  • ha ha ha wow! amazing.

  • I'm impressed. I have a 14 month old whom everyone is shocked by because he isn't afraid of pools and loves to be in them, yet he can't do this!

  • i would love to do this for my neice but im do scared. i would be like going crazy after half a second under water

  • that is so cute!!! amazing!!! n why would it be dangerous the parent sare right there!!!

  • this is the cutest thing ever!!!!!!!

  • the baby is very cute。

when i have a kid i will do that too

  • that baby is a scuba baby

  • wat the... men that's a scuba baby XD

  • Both my boys did this and swam in less than a year old. It works! I cannot find an instructor here in Virginia though, grrr

  • i have a question... babies don't have to wear goggles? because i can't open my eyes underwater without goggles.

  • 1 year and swiiming better than my mom OMG!

  • omg! im 16 years old, and hes better than me!

  • omg that baby can have his eyes open under water when i do that my eyes sting as hurtful as a tooth dug into it i think

  • I love this video :D

  • i dont understand ..can babies breath under water??

  • @elviraberzina No, babies have the natrual instinct to hold there breath; due to being in a womb full of water for nine months.

  • Seems like he's fighting to reach person to pull him up for air. the slight, rapid movement of arms and legs appear more like a life or death struggle then smooth easy strokes involved in swimming. Odd 1:30 on, push him in, he turns quickly back to his abuser, for air. Just the type of people I dont think need kids!!!! What is he being punished for, obviously he doesnt enjoy this?

  • Seems like he's kicking for his life to get to the human, so he may breath air. This slight but rapid movement isnt SWIMMING, ITS TRYING NOT TO DROWN!!!!!!

  • @shadey538 and thats what their trying 2 teach the baby? lol this isnt your everyday swimming program mate its just a survival technuiqe so if a baby falls into water it can kick and paddle itself 2 da side and climb out, or just float until sum1 grabs it

  • QUÉ APURO ME Da...Yo tengo una niña de 15 meses y me da apuro

  • 1:14 HAHAHAHA

  • he swims like a turtle!

    haha

  • that looked like laurie lawrance, he is the best swim teacher in oz

  • Now can he walk? Just kidding. My daughter does this in the bath tub and it freaks me out. I would be too scared to let her go by herself... I'm a great swimmer so I can teach her when she's ready! But he is awesome.

  • god i feel so scared anytime the dunk him and make him swim by himself-lol idk why either bc i love swimming and want my child to learn also. but golly its scared letting them go.

  • babys can swim it can be proven u know babys r much smarter than we think

  • thats what i did i am great now cute!!!!!!!

  • LOOK AT 0:46 - 0:50

  • :))) tenderness! baby swimming
