All the songs in these commercials are written by senior copywriter Dave Muhlenfeld of the Martin Agency. Dave developed the concept of the band, writes the music, the lyrics, and sings the songs. Eric is lipsyncing. If the song is similar to "Taking Back Sunday" the guys wouldn't know that because they're from Montreal. Pandulse is right - the guys act in the commercials and nothing more.

They are acting in the commercials, however Eric is the only professional actor. Vince and Mario are musicians in Montreal. For spelling (!) it's Eric Violette, Vince Charron and Mario Telaro. Eric has a fantastic voice, but a thick French accent; thus the dubbing. Mario is an absolutely fantastic drummer. The real singer is the guy who created the "band" concept, wrote the music and wrote the lyrics, Dave Muhlenfeld, a senior copywriter at the Martin Agency, which produces these spots.
