you could probably sell your overpriced, too small, bose system and get a system with proper speakers that give bass from the speakers not just from a sub, and you could have a variation of sounds, you could have your high notes, mid/low notes and your low deep notes, all your getting with the bose is high notes from the small tweeter speakers, as and bass from the sub, i'm currently building a gaming chair so sub me and a video should be on in the next month, however, good setup and very tidy

im well suprised that you dont have a home cinema system, i've got a 500w sound system that i use for dj'ing and yeah individually the subwoofer, amplifier, 3 pairs of speakers, all 8 ohms and an 8 ohm centrebar are expensive, but you can get cheaper alternatives, i highly recommend the wharfdale diamonds, i do not have them myself, but if my speakers pop (they wont) but if something was to happen they would be the speakers i would replace them with, run them through a cheapish 5.1 amp, and done
