  • That Fixed it . I used the Dremmel cutoff wheel to remove the burrs on each side of the firing pin exit hole. I think it was hanging on that sheet metal hook thingy.

Before, the slide rails would only just barely touch and engage, in fact it was sometimes possible to pull the slide up & off of their rails- they were just starting to engage.

Also make sure the trigger disconnect (trigger linkage) is flat against the frame, or the slide will hang on it & not fully lower to the rails.

  • @dugbalaserstream this is awesome info man, i have a Dremmel tool, now im so excited to get my Bersa working again!

  • Quote: "when you put it together it will not go on flush. So I turn it upside down and match it evenly..." Yeah, same problem; field strip, will not go back together. More details on the fix please! Match what, etc?

Me? On diss-assembly -reassembly the slide got away a few times and slapped the gun, denting near the slide rails plus the rear of the barrel at the breech. Thinking about grinding it smooth w a Dremmel. But I can't really find a specific confirmed problem.

  • where you get the rear sight? did it come with it?

  • @SunnyNShine02 yeah, this model did. i would of rather had the 3 dot sight system instead..

  • @Abomb520 this is not my account(wifey) but I'm used to my glock sights. I tend to shoot better with glock or glock like sights. thanks anyways

  • hey nice GUN I can't find sight like the one u have where did u get it or what is it?

  • academy sports 279.99!!!

  • Yeah the slide issue happened to me too.. I figured out that if its not correctly even when you put it together it will not go on flush. So I turn it upside down and match it evenly and it works everytime now. I was beginning to think it was broke or something.

  • @bengarza26 hmmm, gotta try this.

  • hey nice gun im thinking about buy the dlx version with the 15+1 in blue what do you think

  • @shanemarcum90 the grip is way fatter, but in my opinion it helps with the handling. I added some walnut grips to mine making it about as fat as the dlx version(grip wise). mine is 2yrs old. this gun is not picky, it eats anything you feed it. I must say though, take care of this pistol, I'm having a bitch of a time putting it back together for some reason. i didnt clean it after a day at the range for about a 3 weeks, so I cleaned it, but cant get the slide on for the life of me.
