That's an X6tR5 horn, mated to a modified X-2 control box with the ZR-9F switch. That's why it sounds that way.

@jakemaguire94 - It's not. The GO Transit trains are used as "push-pull" sets, so as to save time by not having to run the loco around the carriage set at a terminus. Haul in one direction, propel in the other.

I love the electronic Bells on those crossings :)

In Barrie, we have 3 crossings for GO Trains alone, all with those 12''LED's and electronic bells, 1 of the crossings has a 'Track Clearance Green' installed on it too :)

But those trains come to Barrie to park for the night now... And I've NEVER heard a horn THAT bad... :(
