It deletes all information and settings from the device. I had to hard-reset my Tungsten E2 and all the data was gone, but I resynched it back on it though. ALSO, remove all CARDS before resetting.

yea yours was way better than all those asian ppl. they use their hot sync cable like its cool or something.

You don't need to plug in the hot sync cable to do a hard reset. I tried it with the hot sync cable on my 650 just like this asian person recommend that you do on other video and it confused the hell out of me. By far this video is the most easiest i've ever found. Better than the text direction found on Palm website.
