@Harichan17 You saw this movie when you were a kid?!?! wow that's cool :) I saw it way too late . But I don't regret it , it is one movie I won't ever forget :) thanx for visiting !
Yes, I watched it then. Anime movies such as this opened up new worlds for me :) It was a time in my life where I started to hope for things to get better. And sure enough, they did! Your beautiful music reminds me of that .
@LaoMa111 This version of the song gets me out of a bad mood better than the one vocal version. I've always been keen to instrumentals and this one is starting to take the cake. It makes me feel nostalgic and sentimental.
@NovaDeFlareStar well the movie is kinda of a tragic/romantic story when you think about it :) maybe you are feeling the change in the season , that too can alter one mood .
@LaoMa111 I remember seeing the movie about 5 years ago, so it's been a while. For some reason it kept making me think of that movie Simone, where the actress was actually a digital figure. Same with Sharon Apple...but in the end, the machine turned out weird and evil...lol.
@NovaDeFlareStar Simone? never heard of her :P Well , that's what happen when you try to play G-od . Usually it turne out to be a disaster lol
Though in the case of Sharon Apple , I still wonder if her creator (the scientific guy who throw himself at the end) if he would done what he has done if he was in his right mind . I think Sharon had him under her controle....
i love this song, perhaps someone can explain this to me, ive known the lyrics for quite a few years now, but one line always through me for a loop, "feeling my spleen decline", it just seems so weird a thing to say
I don't think that there is anything wrong with the translation, please be aware that the word 'spleen' is taken from the an ancient Greek word which in modern english means 'heart'. The singer is speaking of their emotional numbness at the depature of their loved one 'Neither a smile nor a cry, I gave when he left, feeling my spleen decline (heart fail).
@Theclearthinker1 well then just say "heart" , lol. it still works 'Neither a smile nor a cry, I gave when he left, feeling my heart decline" oh well, its still an amazing song, whether its sung or done on cello
@Ghruul Well it all about taste....if you like the music...then yes . The story is good too....and even if it is old...some never really age no matter what . But yeah I would recommand it.....:-)
@Ghruul this is one of the greatest animes in my opinion. there is a good storyline to this anime. romance, action, a little sad at parts but overall one of my favs
@migoogle yes , you can download DownloadHelper * a Mozilla Plugin* and download the video in MP3 format . Or use BitComet or do a Google search someone gotta have it somewhere :) hope this help .
I added the lyric , look under info :-) now you can sing along :-)) I'm glad you like it...I love all the song of Macross Plus...but the Cello version is my favorite :P
Oh, thank you, LaoMa111! Now I can sing along. : D .....lalala...feeling my spleen declineeeeee.....
Hey, you should put the song title Visions in your tags so people who search for this song can find your beautiful cello version. I don't think anyone else has the cello version.
EXCELLANT!!! This was very very good! I would not have known it was your first time if you hadn't told me. That music is beautiful. I loved toward the end when the birds were chirping and singing. Very well done. Make some more!
The song is Voices from the anime movie Macross Plus . You can hear the no instrumental version of this song on my playlist also..on Youtube :) as for who sing this ? Yoko Kanno is the one who composed the music of this movie .
@ 2:18 I like how the music makes a sudden sound at the same time you see the three ladies with their red hair sticking up. It's like SURPRISE! It fits!
Haha that was pretty much luck...I didn't try to match the picture with the music..since like I said I didn't find that much pictures of the movie . Sad to say , this anime movie is very old but still bring back such good memories :))
OH nostalgia this movie was so groundbreaking when it was first available for us audiences in 1997

@kayin72 same here , maybe it's a bad translation and it should be something like ''feeling my spirit decline''.
