Great video... How extensively do you know this firearm, I just picked one up at my range for 525 and its virtually un-used and in excellent condition. My question is (since it only came with the box and spare mags and no manual) How does the decocker feature work? Once you charge the firearm and use that lever it obviously does decock the weapon but why doest the trigger remain able to be pulled? I also noted the trigger seats itself forward of the firing position whats the reason for this?
@GSG929 its meant to be carried decocked. You will have a round in the chamber but your first shot will require a longer, much heavier trigger pull. After the first shot, the gun cycles and you get a shorter, much lighter trigger until you are done shooting an decock.
The first pull is DA, the rest are SA. Pull for DA could be around 12 lbs, the SA is 4.5 lbs.
It's my dad's gun. He got it from a friend of his years ago. I have no idea how much it is actually worth. It is an awesome gun! Shoots like butter...
@Hasoos1 are u using the sig mags which r really expencive or the pro mag ones i heard they are junk but wwould like some more peoples opinions ask ur dad when u get a chance no rush but just dont forget
@arkangel8419 i own a 225 german issue, it has a pro mag and i shoot it frequently. Never had a prob with my pro mag...but, there is one thing about the 225's german isses! The parts aren't interchangeable with other american sigs, SO, and i do emphasize the word so. If it does have a malfunction (which is HIGHLY unlikely) the parts are extremely hard to locate. but all in all, it feeds, fires and ejects perfectly everytime. better than a glock by far, just had to mention
Lighten the trigger and re-finish it. walnut checkered grips. laquered grey or some other hardwood finish. re notch the fruitloop and bang the happy trigger.
I got lucky and picked up a german issue from a friend for $250 with about 75-100rds included. I am super impressed with it.

These are great 9mm pistols at an amazing bargain. They are perfect for concealed carry as well. I hope to attain one soon.
