I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I personally like small optics that's why I went with the sparc. The Lucid is a much larger sight. I also like the fact that the sparc has a lifetime warranty so if anything goes wrong you can replace it. I'm not sure if the Lucid has that. Both are great sights in my opinion.
@BenderBullet56 there is a bit of a tint but it's not as bad as it looks on camera. I was worried about that too when I first looked into the sparc, but when I finally got it I was very happy with it.
Did you have to do much adjusting out of the box? I think this would go well with my AK draco..... I have a midwest industries hand guard with a quad rail. As a lot of us know, factory AK sights suck ass so that's why I am interested in one of these red dots. Good review as well.
@Eslamizar Thank you. I didn't spend too much time sighting it in. It was real easy. The mounts are real easy set up for your specific rifle as well. It will look great on an draco.
Yea I'm afraid it might accidentally turn off on me in a life or death gun fight but would us it on an air soft gun or just shooting for fun! That on off button needs to be changed by Vortex that's just stupid!
Just bought one of those for my Yugo AKM. It's a decent optic. I wish it wasn't made in China but you can't win them all. I was hitting IPSC size steel at 300 yards center mass and zero held through 50 rounds. I broke the straps on the cover right away. Butler Creek Obj size 04 (28mm) flip covers replaced it nicely.
Ive had the Strikefire for several years now. I've liked it so far, and my only complaint has been exactly what you mention with the power on/off. What about the green option?
Great review of this optic! I was on the fence about buying this red dot until I saw this video, now I will pick one up for sure. Thanks for the great video!!
dont worry about it bro., you can see the dot from the front of my 7 hundred dollar aimpint comp m4s.. so its just something ull have to live with., nice little rds though for sure., imma get me 1
Could you tell me the model of the mount that you are using under the Sparc?
Thanks............

@TheHolisticDetective That's the mount that comes with the vortex sparc.

If you had looked at Primary Arms you wouldn't have gone vortex.
LEDshooter 1 month ago
@LEDshooter I actually looked into the primary arms red dot, but they are always out of stock. I still think the sparc is a better choice.

I'm trying to decide between the Sparc and the Lucid HD7. They are about the same price. Do you know how they compare? What do you suggest?

@noBuzzkillin The vortex sparc only has a red dot unlike the strikefire.

Solid review. I've been looking for a red dot for my AK. This is the leading contender so far...
I've subbed. Looking forward to more cool vids. Cheers!

Good review. I know money is tight for most people right now but is there any chance in the future that you can make a video of this sight in action?

@airborneatway I'm currently looking into a new camera so that way I can shoot some first person videos. Stay tuned.
