  • @geschreiben Oh that's so mean

  • Hahahahahah a I'm back on here again I'm addicted to thins kiss

  • @geschreiben wasn't queer as folk American programme and that were heaps of men kissing and sex scenes

  • Comment removed

  • How did I get here again what's wrong with me lols......................I'm just pushing replay replay

  • ....I think I'm gonna have to start watching this...

  • Hehehe love John and Gareth especially Gareth for someone that's not gay he's a risk taker

  • that was gay

  • On American tv if anyone tried to do this scene they'd be burned at the stake. Love it! This is how you create a generation that isn't homophobic- what's celebrated as love in media becomes celebrated at normalized socially pretty quickly!

  • @geschreiben D: now i have another reason to move to cardiff :D i dont wanna see people burned!

  • @geschreiben this has been done on american television...

  • @lexi219 rarely, and only with a huge hoopla around it.

  • @geschreiben What I love about this show is that they don't make it a big deal- the most we've heard about directly addressing Jack's sexuality was where the team was debating whether he was gay, bi, or if ' he'll shag anything if it's gorgeous enough' :D

  • @GoodGirlKC That normalization is what you'd never see here. You'd have pundits saying they're trying to turn kids gay, and it's the liberals attacking Christians, haha. I think this is much healthier. And what else are you going to do with John Barrowman? lol.

  • @geschreiben Hopefully with the years you'll have that type of prejudiced erased- even my generation sees some prudes who have blind hate, but more often than not I meet people with open minds and unwilling to hate. There is hope for the future ;) AND of course, with John Barrowman on screen, how can you not give the public what they want? Whether he's shagging a guy or a girl, his scenes are the best!

  • So, I think I speak for everyone when SQUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D

  • knew he was gay all along

  • @KatrinMcConnell There's this thing called bisexuality. It exists.

  • @simplystreeptacular i was kidding because i hadnt seen that episode but before it i didnt think he was gay in the tv show. so dont make a mean comment making it seem like i am stupid. i have gay friends and my uncle is gay so dont say i dont know what bisexuslity is. so think before making hurtful comments.

  • @KatrinMcConnell If you don't want it to seem like you are stupid, then don't make comments that make you look stupid. Just sayin'.

Also, IDGAF how many gay uncles you have, that doesn't mean you're not clueless. Maybe next time you'll think about making jokes that rely on erasing an entire sexual identity.

  • Ohmigawd Ianto and Jack were soulmates why did they have to kill him? GAH

  • this is SOOOOOO COTE XD =^_^=

  • Grrr... I don't know why I find this more sexy than straight couples making out!

  • I would love for a guy to kiss me the way Ianto kissed Jack. <3

  • replay replay replay replay replay replay replay replay replay replay replay

  • Eyahhhhhhhh! OMG YES! YES YES YES! GO JACK!

  • hach slash.. P

  • is that their first kiss?

  • whoo go john!!

  • I think love them both and I'm a straight girl ^_^

  • Omg love John barrowman this clip is awesome lol ^_^

  • Yea hell yes this is HOT

  • Damn! Hot!! My heart is racin!! :)

  • Jack kisses like a damn pornstar.

  • @LeftofWrong bet you he used to be one on the side lol, wouldn't be surprised really :P

  • I am currently burning with jealousy. I just have no idea whether my jealousy is directed towards John Barrowman or Gareth David-Lloyd...

  • i love this video of jack and ianto kissing

  • *drool* So...... Much...... Sexy......

  • @PunkChick259 I'd rather kiss ianto!!!

  • Wish i was the one kissing Captain Jack :O

  • This is my favorite Janto kiss!! Probably my favorite Torchwood kiss scene in general. My next fave would definitely have to be between Captain Jack and Captain John. Duuuude. Farkkinnn sexxxi that was!! XP

  • Hah, I was just like "aww". I think its cause ianto just grabbed jack xDD

  • fuck yeah

  • @DreaSorrento ain't it tho! Hawt!! I wish they had more kisses like this. Lol for me, I've grown tired of straight kisses and now watching them bores me. I get more enjoyment/excitement out of gay kisses. XD weird I know. But understandable. It's hot!!

  • omg, the heat!!!

  • Im not really into two dudes (or two girls, for that matter) kissing, but this show's guy kisses are HOT. Especially this one... NOMMMM

  • I´m with you girls this is soooo hot (i´m a girl who likes boys who kisses other boys)

  • @hatorl Soo true ^_^

  • We straight women find two men together hot because two handsome men better than one)).But i`m not think that Garret -Yanto handsome, they could find somebody more attractive!!

  • Why is this so hawwwt !!!!!

  • DAMN.

  • Awesome video heehee ianto and jack sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G.

  • HAWWWWWT. This is some of the hottest man on man action since BASEketball.

  • I am so reluctant to even think about the new series. I was so excited when I was watching this and there was a CANON homosexual relationship. (I am a lesbian who supports widespread writing and filming of homosexual relationships in genres other than Queer Lit)

Its so NICE to see some NON TEEN ROMANCE with a little of something new. It's nice for those who relate. Killing Ianto was a huge mistake. People just associate the two together...even if Gwen totally threw off their balance...

  • @nekoXnekoXgurl LOL!!

  • @LovesMrDavidTennant I know I'm two years late for this comment, but I think I may just die of an epic nosebleed at this moment

  • so fuckin` hot =P~

  • thats so hot

  • my absolute FAVORITE kiss from them!!!!

  • @tonightweburnthesky omg, THANK YOU!

That's the most reasonable thing I've heard all day...

  • ...Waoh... What a wonderful kiss *_*....

  • Omg that kiss is a turn on for me I love it

  • Anyone know when the fourth series of torchwood will start cause gwen is meant to b in it and maybe jack might come back

  • @baggybbz

There is no confirmed date but it will be on in summer. Most likely July. Filming started 3 weeks ago, nd Jack, Gwen and Rhys will be returning along with some other old characters

  • that so just turned me on

    gay love is so sexy

  • Fuck me, I just jizzed.

  • awwwwwww... I love jack. He's my favorite gay man on a brittish television show.. :D

  • Mmm... hot <3

  • I used to think it was me being a bit weird that I found gay kisses extremely hot - but thank goodness I've realised it's completely normal now!!! And thanks to YouTube for feeding my 'dirty little secret' haha =P

As a matter of interest, does anyone know specifically why straight girls (because that's what I am) find two men together quite so hot? I don't worry about it I just wonder why it happens!

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic

maybe cause there's no need for competition, no need to see yourself in the place of the girl. or in the words of a friend:

Girls like guys. Gay/Slash is all guys. What's not to like?^^

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic I don't know, but I don't think I care, just as long as they keep producing stuff like this!

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic

Same reason guys fap to lesbian porn :P

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Well, if it helps I'm a gay girl and I find gay male kisses pretty hot also! So maybe we're both weird... :-D Seriously, though, I think a couple of things explain our fascination: man2man sexiness has been such a taboo, such a hidden thing for such a long time, and the forbidden always fascinates; and sweet affection wed to real passion (evident in this clip) is ALWAYS hot, no matter who's doing the smooching! That's my theory anyways.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic I realize you may never see my reply, but here it is anyway. Most women find gay man action arousing because it inevitably leads to sexual scenes where the character RECEIVES penetration, which most of us can relate to. Same as why men like lesbian action because it involves penetrating. I adore John Barrowman, he's utterly fantastic and I wish more actors were like him. Ianto and Jack forever!

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic its hot cos its sensual ......its clean ....it doesnt go that far to the limit of being disgusting . i find those to kissing very steamy too . specially that ianto is not gay (as i recall)!!

  • @Alyssa0401 Ianto's sexuality really depends on who's writing him, but the general consensus is "It's not men, just Jack."

  • @guinivereXbloodgood and i can bloody h.. see why !! :-) .

  • @guinivereXbloodgood ooh, so like christian and olli, it's not men, it's just olli. (chrolli)

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic I think it's the same thing with a straight guy finding two girls making out hot, im not sure why!

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Same reason men like to watch women kissing and such. Voyeurism. No different.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic welcome to the world of yaoi XD

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Because one hot guy is hot. And two hot guys is double hot. And two hot guys kissing and caressing each other is freaking off-the-charts hot.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Thats something i'd like to know as well. I daren't ask anyone though lol.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic same reason guys love lesbians.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic A lot of my girlfriend buddies admitted to that. You're not alone Ann :). I believe it's the passion that is in all of us- I think...

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic

Someone probably already answered this but I can imagine that since straight girls find men attractive then two men together should be twice as attractive, if you see what I mean, haha.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Because it IS hot...

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Haha I can see that many people have replied to you, but I'll give you my interpretation. :]

If us straight girls see a man and a woman kiss, we are of course attracted to the man, not the woman. +/-. If we see two men kiss, it's a +/+. Men do the same with two women! ;]

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Ah, not just straight girls. I'm bi and I squeed at this kiss xD

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Hi Annzii! That's a very good question...There are differences in why men find two women together very hot and women find to men together hot as well. The men love to see the women actually have sex together while the women love the men in more non-sexual romantic settings, like hand holding, kissing, hugging, cuddling, flirting, etc...:)

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic haha, I know. I'm a straight chick, and think two guys together is hot. I think its for the same reason that straight guys think two chicks together is hot.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Dude, I ask myself that all the time <3 LOL. I would be happy if all romances on my screen were all man on man. There is just something so damn sexy and alluring about it! Besides man on man romance always seems to have more chemistry. Watch man/woman kisses on t.v and they do NOT compare to the man on man kissing.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic I don't know but I'm there with you. It is so damn hot and sexy.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic ikr like i find them super hot when guy's kiss to!!and i am not a guy.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic me too and im a girl a straight girl

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Because it's SEXIEEHHHHHHHHHHH

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic Im bisexual, and the devils threesome.... amazing.

  • @AnnziiLovesMusic

I don't know. Why do straight guys find two women together so hot? xP

  • lucky jack AND ianto

  • God, that was sexy. =q=

  • wow....thanks for the spoiler top-rated #2

goddamnit. we need to have a policy where if a clip is from such and such episode, we will only discuss what happens in THAT episode, or BEFORE that episode.

  • Who's who?

  • Hot DAMN.

  • damn...cap'n jack do get around..and WHO it is HAWT!!

  • They liked it . You could tell.

  • ffffffuuu- that's hott...

  • awww *-*

  • .....I might need to start watching this show..

  • @emoprincess001 Stick to seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 will just disappoint you. Trust me.

  • GAY!

  • @romany161 no really! well thats a shock i mean who would of thought two men kissing would be gay!!! how smart you are!

  • Lolz. so thats who Ianto is. I have just started the series. and im fine with the whole omisexual thingy. :D

  • I can never decide who I envy more in this scene.

  • @Vampiregizzle888

...have we ever seen Barrowman do sex scenes apart from the sex scenes we've seen Barrowman do? No, you're right, you've got a point there. I've actually never seen Barrowman do a sex scene I haven't seen him do. Amazing, really.

  • is it me or is it hot in here :) Wow my breath is taken :) sweet xx

  • That kiss is so awesome!

  • hot damn...!!!

  • @tonightweburnthesky hah it does me... :D

  • Holy fuck that's hot.

  • @scruffyalleycat is it ever! <3

  • @Vampiregizzle888 Interesting stories you make up,Vampiregizzle888. The only thing he apologized to the media was for 'flashing" on the RADIO. I guess his equipment sounds too scary for the Daily Mail readers:)

  • omg what episode is this?

  • @svrldsmntlsfan1 series 2 episode 3 To The Last Man

  • Woah.

    Hot.

  • wow :O

  • It's a matter of censorship policy. The UK has what's called the watershed period (after 9:00 or 10:00 at night) in which they basically don't have to watch what they put into a program. In America, we have the FCC, who censors what can and can't be said on cable and public programing because they think parents can't control what their kids what on television. Although, there are premium stations like HBO and Showtime which are allowed to show any content without being censored by the FCC

  • ... Uh, dude, Barrowman is openly and awesomely gay. He once appeared on some quiz show informing the world that he would shag David Tennant, whom he referred to as "David Teninch". =D Why would he have a problem with same sex sex scenes? Homophobia on the part of network execs is to blame for the sorrowful lack of manlove in TVLand ... not individual actors!

  • I have problems with same sex sex scenes because I don't like sex scenes at all.

  • sooooooooooooooo hot my god

  • a lot of words are not muted though

i know bitch it usually not muted anymore

  • the only thing that could 'fix' ianto dying is jack getting a new male lover

  • @Sharebyakuya nah that would runi it

  • saveiantojones,com

  • @sallybelacquaevans85 but its torchwood. he might cum bak!!!

  • That would be cool, but we don`t even know what happen to his body...

  • Not to quarrel with you over this, but I doubt actors sign on for movies or TV shows in which they are asked to do something they would really rather not do, nor would a producer hire an actor who objects to acting certain scenes--not when there are plenty of other performers available who wouldn't have a problem with whatever a script or story requires--including a gay love scene.

  • My original point was that Russell Davies, who btw is himself gay, was quoted as saying that he did not like the way previous sci-fi offerings always insisted on strictly hetero heroes, villiains, storylines and points of view. Torchwood was meant to acknowledge that the world--even the fantasy world of sci-fi--was more diverse, complex and interesting than that. So my question here is why didn't RTD present the Janto relationship as fully as he did others?

  • @TheCatgirl6 I totally agree. I remember reading a review of CoE before it aired which described it as a really sweet gay love story not to mention Russell Davies saying that we'd see their relationship develop. So....why did Ianto die? It was a great relationship because it was unconventional, uncliched and it had so much potential. Why kill it dead? Gwen and Rhys are allowed to be happy, why not Jack and Ianto?

  • Why not indeed? I could have accepted the short-shrift RTD gave to Jack and Ianto's relationship if he'd kept his word and truly allowed it to blossom, as promised, in CoE, but instead of Jack moving emotionally closer to Ianto, as one might expect after the deaths of Tosh and Owen, in CoE he's distant and irritable with him, finally placing Ianto in harm's way against the 456, leading directly to his death! I mean, WTF??!

  • Well, but more disturbing to whom? Torchwood is (was) a big hit, and surely one big reason for that was because audiences were seeing, in a mainstream sci-fi TV series, same-sex affection being considered right alongside the usual hetero thing. BBC Wales (or whoever) needs to remember that it's the fans that bring in the ratings (read: the profits), not nervous-nelly TV executives. (American execs would do well to think about that, too). Just saying.

  • Love this clip, love this scene, but you know what bothers me?

How come in series 1 &2 we get steamier, more explicit love scenes between Gwen & Rhys, Gwen & Owen, Owen & Diane (the lady pilot from the episode "Out of Time") and even Toshiko & Mary (the seductress in the ep "Greeks Bearing Gifts") but all we ever get of Jack and Ianto are these momentary smooches, bits of naughty wordplay or some meaningful looks? How come we didn't get more love action for THEM before the events of CoE??

  • @TheCatgirl6

Because it's always better when you can't have it, probably. The writers like teasing us.

  • @I4gotmyMANTRA Which I could accept, if the teasing was democratic-- we get to see straight love relationships develop and grow but not gay love? I'm still waiting for a good answer from RTD on this, not that I expect ever to get it.

  • @TheCatgirl6 well you have to consider the actors. they might not be comfortable with each other

  • @allielgirl NO, you don't have to consider the actors... what kind of logic is that? I repeat (see my previous comments) actors do not compete for TV and film roles as a condition of parole, honey. No one forces them. They audition because they want the work and they hire on agreeing to the demands of the character, story and script. They understand (or are reminded) that if they can't deliver the goods, somebody else can be hired who absolutely will.

  • @allielgirl And btw--straight actors aren't always "comfortable" with each other either. Reportedly Richard Gere and Debra Winger didn't get on at all when making 1982's "An Officer and A Gentlemen" but they performed their love scenes as directed and were dynamite together. This is an issue of professionalism, especially in this day and age. Movies and TV series are expensive, high-stakes enterprises. There isn't much time or tolerance anymore for schoolboy squeamishness.

  • @TheCatgirl6 i appreciate your input. i didn't really think about it like that

    and i'm not being sarcastic

  • @allielgirl Understood.

  • @TheCatgirl6

well once Gwen walked in in them shirtless as there about to have sex in the episode Adrift (best scene ever :P)

But i agree, ther sud have been more Jack/Ianto. Hopefully in the fourth series of Torchwood will have some sexy scenes with Jack

  • @jadaiyuki12 I hope so also. And I will watch, at least at first, out of curiosity and because I like Barrowman's Jack Harkness, but I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for the show now since all the deaths, especially Ianto. Torchwood had a perfect cast and RTD allowed the most interesting members to be killed off... stupid, wasteful and completely disrespectful to a loyal audience. And yes--that was a great scene with Gwen walking in on Jack and Ianto! Wish there'd been more :-)

  • @TheCatgirl6 I think that's what makes the relationship more special with Ianto and Jack. It's a very quiet love they have and as the relationship progresses it's not all about explicit love scenes. It's just very soft and tender with them

  • @TheCatgirl6 Um...Didn't they have a sort of sex scene in 'Adrift'? >.>

  • @NekoEcho13 Refresh my memory? Which "sort of sex scene" do you mean?

  • @TheCatgirl6 The one Gwen kinda walked in on. >.>

Oh! Maybe this line from after they left the room will refresh your memory. "We could have used you an hour ago for naked hide and seek. :)"

  • @NekoEcho13 Oh, right. But that really only proves my point. What did we really see there? All we get in that scene with Jack and Ianto is a glimpse, as though someone decided two men in a full-on passionate embrace is just too objectionable for audiences. If you notice, the camera spends as much time on Gwen's amused reaction as on the Janto grope/kiss. The other Torchwood characters' love scenes are never so constantly abbreviated. It's annoying.

  • @TheCatgirl6 Well. You gotta think of the actors too. I mean, tehy had to find a way to make it work while still being comfortable with it themselves in that scene. S:

But yes, I get where you're coming from. It would have been nice to see a little more action between these two very sexy men. Cause honestly I was getting sick of the Gwen/Rhys shit. I mean Tosh and Owen too. We never got to see anything come to fruition with them and that kinda pissed me off just as much as CoE.

  • @NekoEcho13 Yeah. I think RTD loves the actress who played Gwen so much that he seemed to consider it her show really, rather than John Barrowman's. Maybe that explains the strong emphasis on her and the Gwen/Rhys storyline. But he should have been more aware of the impact of the Jack and Ianto relationship on audiences starved for that kind of representation. Instead he treated the Janto pairing like an afterthought. And yeah, I would really like to have seen more with Tosh and Owen, too.

  • @TheCatgirl6 Agreed. I am rather outraged about CoE and Exit Wounds. It's like RTD was systematically killing off every good character on the show. I must admit that combining the Jack/Gwen relationship and the killing off of the good characters, it made me start to hate Jack's character. I mean. RTD made it seem like Gwen is more important to Jack than Ianto ever was and that really aggrivates me.

  • @NekoEcho13 Precisely. Like Gwen was the star-crossed "true love" and Ianto merely the fuck buddy Jack was fond of, pardon the language. And that RTD has been quoted as saying he created the series because was sick of sci-fi programming that refused to admit LGBTQ people existed--it just beggars belief that he could be so careless. By Season 2 it must have been clear to RTD that he had a huge success with "Torchwood"--why did he throw it away? Did he kill it so spite someone?

  • @NekoEcho13 Sorry, typos: meant to say "Did he kill it TO spite someone?" I'm serious about that query, btw. Was someone from BBC leaning on RTD and the writers to tone down the gay stuff? And in revenge he instructed his people to start dismantling the show? As far as I know--someone correct me if I'm wrong--none of the cast members wanted to leave, so they weren't killed off for that reason... I just don't understand RTD's perversity.

  • @TheCatgirl6 Well. I'm sorry to say, but I highly doubt RTD would want to tone down the gay stuff willingly since he's an openly gay man himself and knows how much of an influence the Janto pair was to viewers. I just think he believes in his own style of writing plot and when he kills these good characters to 'realify (I know it's not a word but xP) the world of Torchwood' it seems to give him the satifaction in his writing. -_-;

  • @NekoEcho13 Or he runs out of ideas on what next to do with his characters and kills them off to disguise the problem. He had a great cast who had wonderful chemistry with each other, and interesting storylines. And then he blew it all up--what kind of satisfaction does he take from that? How does such an approach build audience loyalty? At the rate RTD is going, fewer and fewer people will invest themselves in his series, wary of having their devotion betrayed yet again.

  • @TheCatgirl6 Very true. I am very wary of watching the next season. I mean, what could they possibly do with only two/three (if you include rhys) characters with various other fill ins? I highly doubt it's gonna be any good to watch anymore sadly. :(

And even if I just watch the old episodes, it's still not satifying enough. D:

  • @NekoEcho13 Yeah, and that's the final frustration, isn't it? Ultimately he's ruined even the pleasure of revisiting the old eps because in doing so you can't escape awareness of what eventually is going to befall Owen, Tosh, Ianto, and even the Torchwood facility itself. You know Exit Wounds and CoE is lurking around the corner. I'm sure he'd use words like "realism" to explain it all away, but I think that's a dodge. Either RTD is running from his own success or he simply ran out of ideas.

  • @TheCatgirl6 Agreed. I am quite disappointed in him. But alsa. There is nothng we can do. What's done is done. S:

Even though I doubt it will be any good, I will watch the new series just to see what the hell he's come up with after the CoE disaster. See if it really is worth watching anymore. S:

If it's not worth it then I will just have to go back to my singular Doctor Who fandom instead.
