As long as people handle their dogs they won't hurt anyone. Hell my parter all her cousins and friends were watched over in the backyard by a wolf dog when they were kids. her Da kept a proper training on her as her pack leader like any owner should.

Maybe one pup out of a litter sometimes none will prove to be game enough in the pit to breed. All the other pups from the litter that dont prove to have that level gameness there is no point to try to train them to be a fighting dog or to breed them. They simply arent game enough. Game dogs cannot be trained, they are born with it

My dog paco is a pitbull, cutest lil guy ever (well he isnt so little lol) but everyone is so scared of him. People think automatically that they are vicious and always fight. To be honest small dogs creep paco out so hes scared of them, and bigger dogs he just wants to play with. He sings (howls) to songs I play and sleeps next to me in bed everynight. most lovable snuggly dog ever. I love pitbulls. It's all on how you raise em.

getting hurt. if a pitbull caused injury to a person they were immediatly killed, they were the one breed that was specifically bred NOT to be human aggressive. while they do tend to be strong willed with other dogs, they are almost NEVER human aggressive. at my work, we muzzle 71% of chihuahuas, 54% german shepherds, 89% chows, and 11% pitbulls. u have NO CLUE what your talking about

TTS test is biased for Schuthund trained dogs. Pitts get a 30% pass on the total test if they have been defense trained. The Pom that barks twice during these three segments fails. The snapping, lunging pitt passes. So get it right and learn some facts. Pittbulls were BRED to be mean. First bull-baiting until it was outlawed in the UK, then dog fighting. Go into denial now.

Call your local TTS center. Tell them you have a pitt. The very next question will be about Shutzhund training or "defense" training. The last three sections of the test will be completed with no deductions regardless of how your Pitt reacts. You dumb fuck.

I work in an animal shelter and the majority of dogs that come in, which are mostly Pitbulls (in a very urban area, where people really can't care for such an active dog in an apartment), do not get put down, but are first temperment tested and are then put up for adoption. These dogs are only put down when they are deemed dangerous and unadoptable, which is rare. In my experience, many of the dogs that fail temperment testing are smaller, toy breeds, not pitbulls.

Nobody will really take care of their Pittbull. They either begin to believe it is just as nice as can be, then someone gets hurt or killed, or, they realize it is dangerous and restrain it until it is mad as a hatter. Pittbulls are worse than cobras. A cobra will go the other way as long as it has an option. The Pitt doesn't choose that option. Bred to bull-bait originally, then dogfighting. well it does matter because we got people who buy pitbulls just to use for fighting dogs like rotties and great danes and then when they pitbulls lose thats when its to late after the danes or rotties rip them pits skin off there backs it make pits look beat up too bad so see we need to get the lies str8 so ever pitbull owner would know better not to fight these breeds with any large hunting breed

Bullshit. It ALWAYS involves an irresponsible owner. I have two and they listen perfectly. People let their dogs run loose and we both handle it without being violent. It's not gender that matters as owners, it's knowledge and responsibility that matter. All people have to do with ANY dog is USE IT!

I'm afraid that I don't know that. I mean, are you kidding? That's most of the problem. I know around here for sure, having a "big tough 'pit bull'" apparently increases your penis size so I mostly see grown men with APBTs that don't even try to control them, leave them loose, in the yard and on walks. I'm not the only female in my neighborhood with APBTs, and none of them have issues with their dogs, either. I have only had problems with older men and their 'tuff' dogs running rampant....
