Peter Brock was NOT 'the coupe's original creator'. In fact he wasn't brought in until well into the design process. Not to take away from his accomplishment but, he designed the shell and that's it. How can you profile this car without mentioning Carol Shelby or Ford at all?! BTW Its called the 'Daytona coupe' not the Le mans coupe.

This is exactly why I watch Top Gear, and not these shows. They dont care about side impact in a race or supercar. I liked what clarkson said in response to complaints about a car not having air bags. He said "then dont crash." I know accidents happen, esp with fast cars, but i do think that if you are a safe defensive driver you dont have to worry about things like that. =]

That car is shit. Its a replica of a car that only six were made, what you are doing is you are saying 'Yes i love this car but I cant efford a real one so i bought a fake!'. At least of this particular car.There are only a handfull of these that are original.How do you know about how the suspension is,have you driven one of the original ones that were made and compared it to the other one? That is what i don't like about this website to many people
