Ranger's tackle was legitimate. Watch it from behind, his left hand briefly goes around Kirchner which is all that is needed for it to be legal. De Villiers however was hardly legal as he lifted him and dropped him on his head! And if you are going to complain about SA always getting bans... its because they often play the dirtiest of the SANZAR countries (as in illegal tackles or blatant outburst). Players like Botha thoroughly deserve the sentences they got...
