  • Scotland the greatest country on earth. Aberdeen the greastest non-capital city on earth.

  • leuk,land,jaren,geloofswar,katholiek,protestant,i,do,it,alone,you,worc,i,know

  • @CelticAngloPress. Do you live in Canada? I'd say we've got it pretty damn good right now, Harper's government hasn't driven us into the ground and our economy is expanding very fast. If you lived in my city you can easily find work in a city thanks to Kijiji. Our education system is very good, especially in areas like world geography if contrasted to the usa. Canada's a huge open market for business.

  • @alastairmctavish I'm scottish and the canadians I've met have always been more down to earth and well mannered compared to the yanks.

  • What's with that guy in the back running like a welshman.

  • the food chain in scotland

    neds-junkies-jakeyz

  • The schoolgirls' accents are perceived in most of Scotland as NOT very Scottish - a TV-influenced, moderately class-anglified Scottish accent.

  • Posh Schools Don't Count!

  • .. come on .. - ___ -

they're probably from aberdeen or dundee

which is like.. embaressing . but fuck off ?. cause girls actually love my accent -o _ o

i mean really hot birds, not just some rat like here in this video .

  • HOT.

  • @wipeoutexpert That's great. It's important that we all learn our family history as it is a huge (but not the only) part of who we are and our identity. As a Canadian with Irish (amongst others) ancestry, I wonder if you have head 'O Canada' sang as Gaeilge (in Irish). It is beautiful. My paternal grandfather was Scots/Irish Canadian, but he came back to Europe during the war (1944), which is where he met my grandmother. I am Welsh with Irish, Scottish and Canadian descent. 'Gaeilge i gCeanada'

  • @converter7 I don't think you can find an ancestor of the Scots or Welsh or Irish in Canada anymore. It's all immigrants.

  • @Amhlair I'm sorry Amhlair, I don't understand your statement. Of course all the Canadians are immigrants, because they come from Europe. The only natives are the First nations and they arn't really Canadian as they have their own nationalities. Unless you mean the Canadian state they live under. In that sense, I am British as I live under British rule, but that is just a state (a dying state too), the nationalities come first. Canada is more of a wider political ideal, like my European identity

  • @Amhlair

No, You still can. Folks, Companies, Cathedrals... Not only eastern small provinces.

  • @converter7 It's quite good in Gaidhlig too."An Laoidh Naiseanta."

  • @converter7

Not for long, Canada will be a third world country with a third world population, anyone interested in perserving their existance left a long time ago.

  • One of them has a Scottish accent, but that other lassie's got some private school shite on the go...

  • i cant hear a fucking thing

  • @kal1nas

    .. funny [;

  • @wipeoutexpert No problem. Where are you from?

  • @wipeoutexpert We don't speak Gaelic in Wales. It was only spoken her briefly in the 5th century. We speak Cymraeg, called Welsh in English. This was spoken across the island of Britain at one point. From Edinburgh in the north and across all modern day England and Wales and down into Cornwall. It evolved from Brythoneg, which was a Celtic language. It is only spoken in Wales today. Ireland and later Scotland and Isle of Mann spoke Goedelic. That evolved into the Gaelic tounges.

  • ha thats right beside the art store near George square xD and no england didn't conquer scotland .only but a small part of our land was lost to england. though Gaelic is still a used language in the highland but never herd any one in the city : /

  • Some hundred years ago most scottish people spoke their own language but gradually they begun to speak english instead because England conquered Scotland.

  • @CarolineOskarsson England didn't conquer Scotland. wtf are you talking about. England were left without a monarch, so the Scottish and English monarchies united as one

  • @MrFlibble2011 You're bad at trolling.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFlibble2011 Not being funny or anything, but do you actually have downs syndrome? If so I apologise

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFlibble2011 Heh, you're a funny guy. It's cute that you think anybody cares :)

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFlibble2011 Sad. Just sad.

Come back when you learn what trolling actually is :) Oh and since you want to bring nationality into it so badly, GREAT showing for the English you're making there, champ.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFlibble2011 Come on man, now you're just embarrassing yourself. American? Really? Anyway, as fun as this has been, I'm gonna go ahead and cut you off. You know, having a life outside the Youtube comments sections and all that :) Later mate

  • @alphaprawns

MrFlibble2011 is claiming to be American here? Really - only last night he was claiming to be a millionaire from Essex. He is English but, thankfully, not typical of our southern neighbours. He's a nerd who gets a thrill out of trolling Scots, the French, Americans, South Americans .. basically anyone he isn't likely to meet face-to-face. His boyfriend is a little fat bloke called Michael. When he's not trolling or giving Mike a hand job, he's playing his Amiga console. Honestly!

  • @CarolineOskarsson We weren't "conquered" we were colonised from the 1750's onwards. You are correct about the language though , only spoken now by about 2% of the pop.Fònadh chun a' phoileis! Nollaig chridheil agus bliadhna mhath ùr

  • @CarolineOskarsson Conquered? I must've missed that memo.

  • I am Scottish and I only speak English

  • upper class, low class, middle-low class, brougoise. wow, britania really w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l. !!!!!!! almost half century passed since 68 revolution broke out....even many developed Asia countries don't have such obvious class concept now....xD!

  • @icylakepaxphile But... Upperclass is the richer (have the finer things in life people) Low class is the poorer (struggling to keep food on the table) and middle is the normal family (enough for the odd luxury for christmas and birthdays.)

  • @icylakepaxphile

The 68 marxist revolution?....sorry dirty hippie, were not interested.

Can keep your cultural marxist degeneracy all to yourself.

  • @shinznay I found her look a bit like paris hilton, if you look from the side

  • @shinznay It doesn't matter your comment was made in november of 2010, because you are wrong. She is not hot.

  • I got the impression that the two females were complainers. That's all I could pick up.

  • hahah oh what dundee high snobby goons!

  • @daniellemcdonaldxx Its a Herriot's uniform, that's in Princes St Edinburgh.

  • @jVlonzter

The one on the left is English and the other one is clearly from Edinburgh. So, what is your definition of a "chookter", a word you can't even spell?

  • fucking private school gits.

  • @jVlonzter Are you kidding me? For a start, the word is "teuchters", with the same "ch" from "loch", not a hard "k" sound, and they are clearly not speaking like a "teuchter" of any description.

  • im american i want to live in scotland though

  • ehh they irny scottish ! im scottish nd that naw how we talk mate

  • my dad lives in scotland when im going to him i cant understand any thing what people say

  • ew they are we geeks they arny scottish

  • Erm they are private educated edinburgh pupils lol And they blatantly sound Scottish to me HAHA. By the way Scotland is amazing it one big party I come from the capital :D an i always have a blast!

  • Is that the GOMA in the background?

  • Wow, "ethnic English".. "snobs" etc... grow up. Even if there was something wrong with living in Scotland and *not* being a Braveheart nationalist idiot or a drugged-up ned, you still can't choose your upbringing.

  • @pidgin Well said, it never ceases to amaze me how people are so ready to judge -vely, and back it up with vile hate rants about how someone who doesn't speak like them must think they are better than them, or they are 'stuck up' 'spoiled', the list gos on but as it grows all I see is anger, frustration, stunted developement,+ jealousy. Usually culminating in a violent threat. It's beyond ridiculous. If they could see/hear themselves they'd be mortified.

  • the one on the left probably has english parents hence the accent...folk in edinburgh sound pretty anglised anyway...the middle-class ones at least...Its the same in aberdeen

  • loooooooool Heriots

  • r scottish ppl known 2 be blonde or redhead

  • @Apink420 the irish are known to be redhead, i live in scotland and ive seen more english gingers than scottish

  • why r they wearing long skirts? ;O

  • @ILOVEGACKTXD they are not huge sluts like you?

  • English assignment for the French girls?

  • The dark haired one is probably English as she is speaking RP. The Fair headed one speaks with a slight Scots slant but as both are attending an private schoo in Edinburgh I would wager both are ethnic English.

  • @AlbaSiar i take it you're english then and don't think that any scottish people can get a good education?

  • @AlbaSiar No they are scottish! can't you hear the accents? Edinburgh is not england!

  • I'd shag the blonde one xD

  • Nice girls, nice uniform, nice accent! :)

  • Comment removed

  • @MrBlahblahblah273 actually it's not a real accent! It's a pretentious fake and really annoying accent that many stuck up snobs put on! it's to make them feel like they are above people, hence the reason they talk in this patronizing way!!! Have slapped a few at university for talking down to me. And enjoyed doing it. Most of them aquire the accent because they don't want people to know that they are from a shithole place with a really common accent! they would be laughed at.

  • Hello, yep, yes, sure thing!

  • ahhhhhhh Scottish girls. Hope I go back there one day...

  • Why are they ALL so fuckin hot?

  • @beefsupreme420 they're scottish

    we got loads

some ye may want tae stay away from

  • I like you girl on right! : D

  • these girls are damn beautiful

  • private school scots who get educated to talk proper english, !!!! they dont speak scottish ,

  • @MsLiz50 em no cuz I go to their school and we don't get taught how to speak in any particular way, we speak how we want, they just happen to sound like that. they're 2 out of 1600 so don't judge

  • @MsLiz50 so what exactly is proper english besides good grammar hmm? if somones accent is different than anothers it doesnt make them improper and what school you go to doesnt define how you speak

  • @MsLiz50 no we get taught proper english in publicshools too but we still have our accent everyone whospeaks english doesnt sound like they are related to the queen!

  • av niver met any scottish girls like them theyr posh fuckiers daughters thats what they are the type whos mum n dad sent them to the notty corner if they spoke natural scots

  • Bongo express: Your incorrect there mate, this is how half of people from Edinburgh sound, the other half are chavs with an accent that sings the words rather than saying them, take it your not Scottish?! Twat!

  • tthey are posh scottish girls they are talking with more of an english tone, they are not speaking proper Scots which is the lingo of edinburgh, they are upper class posh girls hence the uniform

  • @BongoExpress just cuz they go to heriots doesn't make them posh and if they were "upper class" they would be at boarding school or fettes, people going to heriots are mainly middle class i think you'll find. Also most people in edinburgh speak with an english slant especially when compared to glasgow or fife

  • @pamplemousse776 wit the fuck are ye jokin for fuck sake, ther upper class eh fuck, n edinburgh is posh is fuck its all fuckin upper class apart fae a few places, if some cunt tlked like tht in glasgow they'd be callled a posh cunt man, heavy posh them thts no proper scottish

  • @pamplemousse776 no beleive me mate they fucking dinn lived here aw ma life n its the biggest myth aboot edinburgh like a said easy ti understand tho because places like glesgy n that are fucking ugly and look working class, its an auld myth fi weegie jelousy of not being capital

  • @pamplemousse776 middle class = posh in scotland

  • @BongoExpress wit ye tlkin about edinburgh is proper scottish, isit fuck ya dafty, glasgow n fife are proper scottish, no edinburhg its posh is fuck

  • @AmWiUrBird well shows yi dinny huv a fucking clue whit yur on aboot then mate eh, thats exactly why yous cunts hink its posh coz oh videos like this n coz everyhings pretty, when somebody tries ti film suhin in glesga or fife its that fucking mingin its hard ti find the posh english talking scots like them. PS WEEGIES talk mair irish than scottish mate thats where yur accent comes fi

  • @BongoExpress Heriots is not upper class, its fee paying but they have a large % or bursars, its a charitable school that tries to give education to those who qualify academically, many of the pupils are on scholarships or bursaries, so they don't pay the full fees. Obviously lots do pay the full fee, but its defo not for upper class, working class-lower middle. Its by no means exclusive.

  • @katmac75 wrong, edinburgh for centuries has had a shocking class system, right to the point today where your education depends on your poscode, those from council schemes dont get as much attention at any school as those from middle class or private schemes, thus when a working class person does make it to uni they are instantly crushed into dropping their scots accent and taking a mair english sounding tongue, ensuring the english image is the one seen as more proper, goes back centuries

  • @BongoExpress That's not my experience, I'm from near Edinburgh, and I have a strong accent. I was lucky enough to be accepted to what is perceived as an exclusive college in England, + Edinburgh Uni. I still have my accent and was never under any pressure to change or adapt. Some people did struggle to understand me at first, so I'd speak more slowly, but other than that,+ a few not very original Krankie jokes I never had any probs.I know some may have less identity so opt to change,I never.

  • @katmac75 theres a social pressure there that has been there synce the battle of culloden, westminster controlled education in scotland for centuries and made sure they crushed any form of scottish identity, ensuring scots remain dumb and blind to their own identity heritage and political rights there for reducing the chances of scots (actualy realizing) they are being shafted up the arse by the british government and resisting. 300 years later we got the dumb useless modern youth of today!!!

  • @BongoExpress If you feel so strongly about it, move up to the Highlands. Don't accept a penny of UK tax or support. Don't speak in English, so you are not giving in to what you think of as a cruel imperial invader. It was James I + VI who agreed the Union of the Crowns so we can't really moan about it. We benefit hugely from the macro economics of being in the UK. If we'd been is Salmond's economic circle we'd be bankrupt with Ireland +Iceland right now. Don't use the NHS,or the Forces.Archaic

  • @BongoExpress Your level of literacy acts only to include you in what you call the 'dumb useless modern youth of today'. Do something about it instead of moaning to a faceless dozen on a web site that relies heavily on funding from the advertising of British companies. I am Scottish and very very proud of it, but I'm not racist, I've nothing against the English, I know for a fact we benefit hugelly from being in the UK. We wouldn't last a day on our own. No police, schools, Forces,BBC.Nothing.

  • @katmac75 WHOS LITERACY ARE WE TALKING OFF HERE, thats the question???!!! and sorry mate but yoo clearly know F all if yoo hink we benefit from the uk, why dont u use your intellect and tell me how this is so and al tell yoo the truth aboot every single one of your unionist induced fairytails.. im no racist either mate, am angry at the racism towards scots from the english or better still WESTMINSTER AND THE UK whos purpose is to destroy scottish identity and culture, to keep us arse lickin

  • @BongoExpress WRONG. As a university student who grew up on a council estate my school education was very good, I am in a good university and I still have my Scottish accept. Someone is obviously bitter.

  • Princess Street :3

  • no but these ones sound it
