The American economy suffered long before 2 years ago. I know a page where i can compare different currencies and in different time intervals. When i compare the american dollar to any of the many european currencies since the year 2000 a nice graph pops up and it allways looks the same! It begin an outrageous decline in the year 2001 and in 2007 ends at an all time low (Half the initial 2000 value), since 2007 it's been rising steadily compared to all the european currencies!!
