@use2slam2 I sure will enjoy. As a child of the 80's I can certainly appreciate it. I miss those days as well. But there is something special and incomparable to the Soul R&B of the 70's. I was introduced to the Stylistics back in '88 when I was 14. I found Mom's 78 rpm of Round Two (Stone in Love w/You, Right As Rain). It hit me like a ton of bricks. Not long after that, I experienced the romance and heartache they sang of, making it more relevant.
graduated H.S. 1976,spent many an afternoons under the covers in my bedroom with my H.S. sweetheart(whom i'm still married to since 1978)we were each others firsts.
we have 3 sons(30,26,23)and 2 grandchildren(1 1/2 and 2 months)still get the living room pitch black and click on the purple light bulb in the lamp cuddle up on the sofa listen to these classic 70's slow jams and STILL get busy even after a total of 35+ yrs together- i am a very blessed man !!!
@use2slam2 You truly are blessed. I'm 37 myself and too young to remember when most of these jams came out, but it's what I play to set the mood. Blue Magic does it for me.
