If it's on the PC, i would go with FO3. You can just add a few mods and it's like 90% NV (RH Iron Sights, Weapon Mod Kits, Wanderer's Edition, etc). A lot of what makes NV - NV was in FO3 for some time now.
Instead of playing NV for the 2nd time, I find myself wanting to play FO3 for the 20th time. Exploring NV is pretty boring imo and the story isn't keeping me interested :/. Man do I wish that wasn't true for me, because I'm dying for some more Fallout.
@Ez0n31976 Dude look for requiem for the capital wasteland, basically all the nv stuff in fallout 3, I like nv way more than number 3. The flyable vertibirds motorcycles and stuff are all on new vegas and with the capital wasteland and campaign its amazing. RTS is the best in new vegas because of the large empty areas like searchlight airport (my base) and so forth. You don't need to choose which is better just get Requiem
@TheJackGinger fallout 3 is so much better. the amotsphere, the story. I can get lost in fallout 3, play it all day! But i can't in new vegas. I think fallout 3 is so much more better
@PartiaLenina Not only the story, but the retrofuturistic stuff in it is really cool, while i could be playing fo3 for hours, i get bored of new vegas in like one... as soon as my character hit level 25, it got boring as fuck...
