i find emperor, dissection and windir the most interesting black metal bands, because they all had there unik sound and pushed the genere as far as possible without becomming cheesy.
There's something so rare and amazing about a band that can sound so refined, so clear, so pure and so sure of itself- yet so pulsing with absolutely shattering aggression. Hail Emperor.
The thing i love about emperor is that they are heavy yet classical and melodic they offer something different that alot of other blackmetal bands dont.I am however not trying to diss any other blackmetal bands when i say this but emperor is in a class of its own.
@Envenomed69 of corse man, all you have to do is look at where there from, any band from that region of the world are fukin mental when it comes to music. even bands of the same type can be completely origional and seperate from one and other. hahaha.
