I LOVE Mr. PRESLEY...

The chemistry between Elvis and Anne-Margaret was undeniable ...On screen and in real life.. Two beautiful and passionate and intense people together ... i believe thats the kind of relationship they had as well.. I also think that it was a very serious relationship in that the feelings of love were very strong and real... and i believe that if he had never met and fell in love wiht Pricillia that ANne would have been the one woman in his life and they would have been married.. Real love 4ever

They may look like the perfect match but they weren't. Elvis like to be in the drivers seat of a relationship and Ann had a strong personality to so she wouldn't change for him. Talent wise yes theyy did have in common but Priscilla danced and later acted and she changed herself for Elvis and did everythig in her power to make him happy so I can see why he struggled to pick cause let's face it the girls are very attractive. Who would win in a cat fight. Ann or Cilla??
@lanny21ful I know you wrote this 8 months ago but THANK YOU! I've been trying to get people to see that for a long time and yet they still seem to think he loved her deeply. Yeah he sure loved her enough to cut her off and marry Priscilla. :)
Elvis had an amazing talent and was the ultimate superstar as far as being human was concerned in the entertainment business! He had it all the voice the looks everything a man could want. Money, fame and just about any woman in the world in his time! A heavy burden and emotional price for anyone to carry for such fame. Guys he was human and like the rest of us had faults. Let him rest and remember what he brought to the world!

@lofatmat I will absolutly agree with you on that one. ELVIS could have had any woman he ever met . He chose Priscilla but then we are all tricked by lust at one time or another in our lives. But then he could have Loved her at the time they were both young. She should have went with him. You keep your man happy he has no need for anyone else.
@1943AngelEyes Well he obviously couldnt get any women he ever met or he would of had Debra Paget, which I think is exactly the reason why he married Priscilla, because she was the spitting image.

so sorry but I don't agree. Elvis started to go downhill after his separation and divorce from Priscilla. Ann Margaret married Roger Smith an actor. Roger Smith was very good looking. They were not married long until he suffered a severe stroke
I don't know if he is still living or not but as far as I know they never divorced.
@grace230608 Yes, Roger Smith is still living. He has a condition called myastenia Gravis. Ann-Margret and Roger Smith have been happily married since 1967.
Congratulations to them on the longevity of their union. That is something to be very proud of....especially in show business::))
You might be right although Ann had been engaged to Roger for sometime. I recently read that Elvis was crazed with jealousy over Ann becoming engaged! I believe that Elvis was held by the promises he had to make to Priscilla's dad to marry her when she moved in March 63. I do NOT believe it was related to when she was 14 in 59-60 because of the 3 yr gap, but she did make those two visits in 62 at age 17 & says in her book they "almost" did it when she did a strip up the stairs at New Years!
1943AngelEyes You don't have a clue when it comes to Ann Margret. Yes you're the only one who can see that because it is NOT there & you are jealous. Ann was one of the sweetest, sexiest, most real & loyal women Elvis ever dated. Elvis had a hot affair with her, but he also fell IN love. Everyone around Elvis knew it was serious because Elvis began to pick her up breaking his rule the women were brought to him & all the girls around him were gone! Also, everyone knew when the affair began!
Elvis always had feelings for Ann because he went to her in 67 just before he was to announce Priscilla's pregnancy to tell Ann how happy she had made him and how he still felt about her. His father & two entourage went with him. Elvis also tried to get her back after his separation. She only speaks of one time, but others say it was more. On Memphis Mafia Remembers they call it a "toss up" between Priscilla & Ann. Elvis was impressed by more than her movie knowledge--how about her sex appeal,
her body, her beauty, her matching personality with Elvis: shy, reserved, loyal & sweet, but a wild performer! He had a mature relationship with Ann with both love and heat, Ann showed she wanted to GIVE LOVE to the real man in her interview when she said "I wanted that for him." The promises Elvis had to make to marry Priscilla is what kept them apart. If Elvis had wanted to marry Priscilla so badly, why didn't he do that when she was 18 & moved to Graceland?
@epmelodygirl According to some the reason was because he didn't want to marry her, but her father (technically step father) said he would press child rape charges on Elvis if he didn't marry her like he promised that he would when he made the deal when she went out there. I respect Priscilla as the only woman to ever have been Elvis' wife and mother to his only child (no matter what claims people make) but read the book Child Bride by Suzanne Finstead if you can find it-Ann was Elvis' true love
@amberjade11 Yes. That is so true. When Prissy flew from Germany and visited Elvis in California, Elvis took her across state lines to Las Vegas. She was only 15 at the time. That is considered a felony. Her step-father and mother required that Prissy send them a post-card each day she stayed in California. Elvis told Prissy to make out 6 different post-cards and Elvis's friends would send one each day to fulfill the agreement. He was rapist of sorts.
@cobalt100 I agree 100%. From what many who knew Priscilla's family at the time say the deal that Elvis made with Paul Beaulieu (Priscilla's step father who adopted her) was more like a business deal than a parent sending their daughter off to live with her boyfriend. I don't know if I believe it, but it's hard to imagine a parent sending their teen to live with the biggest sex symbol in the world-and this was in the 60's!!! I have a daughter and there is no way in 100 hells I would allow it!
@amberjade11 Well everyone isn't like yourself. My mother got with my dad in 1960 when she was 15 and he was 31 and her parents sent her to be with him in 1961 when she had just turned 16 and he was 32. An even bigger age difference than Elvis and Priscilla. They are still together.
@MusicGirl1980 Well then in my opinion they are piss poor parents. Any GOOD mother would never in a million years send their child to live with a man twice their age. And there is something wrong with a 32 year old man that is sexually attracted to a child, that is called pedophilia. Whether they are still together is irrelevant. Sixteen year old's should be focusing on school, and being a teenager, not sleeping with men twice their age. Your grandparents should be locked up.
@cobalt100 What "rapist"! She agreed to do so, didn't she. It wasn't like he was pointing a gun in her head, to be with him- she did it all at her free will! And her parents saw a great deal in that- and took a chance. I would never allow my 14 years old daughter to live with a mature man like Elvis was at a time.If I would do so, even now in 21st century , I would be pointed as a child molester.
@zujo1 It depends on the legal age of consent. In my state the legal age of consent is 16 years old. No child under the age of 16 can legally consent to sex with an adult. Whether they agree to it or not. That is what statutory rape means. And I agree. Hell would freeze over before I ever sent my 16 year old across the world to live with a man-the biggest sex symbol in the world at that. I would have the bastard put it jail first.
@epmelodygirl I don't know if it's true (who will ever know) but I read that Elvis wanted a girl who would be the "stay at home type" (and this really sounds like Elvis) and Ann-Margaret wanted a "career" and this went against what Elvis wanted and this is why he chose Priscilla. If only he had known this would be his undoing!
@epmelodygirl Hi There I made some foolish remarks at a bad time in my life and I have also made my apologies to ANN . I not only replyed to my own comment but also removed it. If thats not good enoughh why would I be jealous. Thats a bit silly as Elvis and I were on the same level spiritually. I did not look at him as a sex object he was an amazing man and man he was.If she and he would have married what would I care I was already married to a man I Loved with all my heart. I fix my mistakes
This guy was like a gift from heaven, in the fifty`s i was a teenager, and as the saying goes "Befor ELVIS there was nothing" and as i remember the Beetles came along in the early 60`s , between them they made my teenage years just PERFECT.
It has been said that Elvis WAS DEFINITELY in love with Ann but the Colonel ORDERED him to marry Priscilla. Remember Priscilla was living with him during the time he met Ann. I really believed he loved Priscilla but he was in love with Ann. Shortly after Elvis got married, Ann met her husband and got married.
I have read Elvis and Me, it's a great book. And I don't think Elvis was a monster at all, how would any of us know how he really was? Priscilla lived it, and Elvis did love her. Nobody in their right mind would keep someone around if they didn't love someone. Elvis had affairs because he was the "sex god" of that time, and could get whoever he wanted.
Parts of the book are okay, but she has refuted those "tech" virgin bride claims in later interviews saying "Of course we were having sex." I understand why she did that originally to negate all the accusations Elvis was forced to marry her because they had sex when she was 14. I don't believe it was when she was 14 because her parents would have acted sooner although she shows more happening in her movie than the book. It's possible when she was 17 or it was that crossing states lines, but
for what ever reason Elvis HAD to make promises that even Guralnik's book says Elvis resented & eventually kept him apart from Ann. I think that he loved Priscilla, but he wasn't IN love with her like with Ann. With Ann he had a mature relationship with heat and love like it should be. In the book Priscilla is on a pedestal more than the movie. Of course some of it may be the beady eyed actor they have playing Elvis, but it is also the story.
which shows Priscilla an innocent victim of his control, temper, drug use, & his sexual neglect of her while he was with other women,& this is all before they married so it makes you wonder why she married him. I think most of it is an excuse for her own affairs because I have never heard another woman say this. Ann Margret says the opposite. This is all opinion about her movie, but everything below is fact from Guralnick's Careless Love & Elvis; Day by Day, Pris book & movie, & Ann's book.
I'd like to add one more thing that I've said before and is just my opinion. From their body language, and expressions, it seem Ann Margret was more concerned with giving love to Elvis the man, and Priscilla was more concerned with pleasing the icon, and it shows. Later this pleasing turned into resentment on Priscilla's part & possibly on Elvis's too.
You need to study their relationship, and if you look at her movie Elvis & Me, it seems Priscilla almost hated him and portrays him as a monster. Their time line shows large gaps in the relationship partly because she was so young when they met in Germany in 9/59, but were not exclusive--he had a lot girlfriends over there. Her bDay is 5/24/45, and after he left Germany in3/63, they both dated others for the next 3 yrs. She kept writing asking to visit & he hadn't called in months when...
he finally called to ask her to visit which she did when she was 17 for 2 visits of 2 wks each in the summer of 62 in CA with a trip to Vegas and to Graceland at Christmas. Anita Wood moved out of Graceland 8/62 between Priscilla's visits when she heard Elvis trying to decide between them--most sources have it this way, but Priscilla has Elvis dumping Anita. Anne Helm stayed at Graceland between Anita & Priscilla, & said everybody would leave on cue when she & Elvis wanted to make love.
One CORRECTION: Elvis left Germany in MARCH 1960 when Priscilla was almost 15. Priscilla moved to Graceland 3/63 at almost 18, & Elvis had to make promises to her father to marry her some day. The reasons for these promises are unclear, but not related to anything that happened when she was 14 or her parents would have acted sooner! Elvis met, had an affair with & fell in love with Ann Margret in 7/63, but "Elvis had promises to keep" Elvis did try to get Ann back after his separation in 72.
I don't see "perfect match" with Elvis & Priscilla at all. When you are BOTH having affairs within a year after the marriage in 68; in 69 Elvis is seen in the casino making out with two beauties & when told how good he looked said "That's what a bad marriage will do for you;" by 70 Elvis is saying he & Priscilla have an arrangement--an "open" Marriage, & he starts several long term affairs; by 71 Priscilla is with Mike Stone who she leaves Elvis for, I just don't see "perfect match."
epmelodygirl, sweet baby of love, did you know that Dwight Yoakam was the first one to say, If Elvis & Ann-Margret had gotten married, Elvis would still be alive today. Its true! But poor Dwight (a huge Elvis fan) never gets credit for the original quote. He called it just a white trash theory of his.
So just why are you preaching on here gstuart01. Nobody on here was saying Elvis was a saint or worshiping him! I'm completely against any idol worship of Elvis or any star or public figure! If you look, judgmental preaching saying Elvis was a womanizer and sinner, and the opposite saying he didn't sleep with every woman he encountered so he must be gay and/or a weak man are both being used to DENIGRATE ELVIS. They even use the fact Elvis respected women and a girls virginity against him!
They all hate Ann Margret, and try to degrade their relationship because they know they loved each other and it was HOT between them. They were almost a perfect match, and unlike what you say, family was very important to Elvis and to Ann Margret. They both knew about honor, respecting your elders, and keeping promises which Elvis did with Priscilla! I'm just here to defend Elvis as a normal heterosexual man who LOVED and RESPECTED WOMEN, and will leave any judgment of his actions to God!
Elvis is now in the presence of God. What do you think he would say to us now if he could? Do you think he would glorify his life as we do? Do you think he would allow people to worship him as they STILL DO? NO. I dont think so. There is the flesh, and there is the spirit. Elvis is spirit now, and is in the presence of God Almighty. What advice do you think he would give to his fans? FOLLOW GOD, NOT ME, is what he would say. There is too much to say, pls keep in mind I love Elvis dearly.
Joe Espesito said, "we all cheated on our wives, we all got divorces". Who are "we"? All of Elvis' friends, coworkers in the business, But they didnt get a divorce from Elvis. Love of money, love of fame. Pills, lust, drunkenness, total destruction in the end. They put it ABOVE their families. They know better now. So do I. I'de give anything if he would have STOPPED his sinning, and millions would have too. He had that kind of influence. But it went the other way. So which way will we go now?
Do you really think Elvis had that kind of influence? That is ridiculous because even though he was seen as a "bad boy" rebel rocker in the 1950s, most people didn't even know much about Elvis's many women or his prescription drug use until near the end of his life when that book came out. To blame anything Elvis did for your own bad behavior is STUPID!
Of course Elvis is forgiven, because he accepted Jesus Christ as his savoir, and so am I, but Elvis, like myself, went astray and people got hurt. The point I want to make is, people worship stars, & because of that, many go astray. There is only one King, and He alone deserves to be worshipped, and if we follow Him instead of our lust, our vanity, and our pride, we will NOT go wrong, not hurt ourselves and others, and if our kids follow us, they wont go wrong either.
Don't you realize that your own actions have little to do with how your kids turn out unless you are into some really evil stuff! Young people are much more influenced by their peers, and by the stars of their own age than anything else. Also, sometimes very self righteous behavior can run your kids away from God so that is why you see some really bad preacher's kids. Kids want to go the opposite of their parents so that is why you also often see some messed up people with some amazing kids!
No, I am not perfect, having had 3 marriages, committed adultery myself, lost everything I had, yeah. I do know what Im talking about. Being a Christian is not always about being popular. If its scary its because its the truth. I have set an example. I took responsibility for my sins. Im not judging anyone, God is the judge. God forgives yes, but sometimes the consequences of our sins arent removed, and I think people need to know that, so they dont end up like me, and Elvis. God rest his soul.
It was NOT adultery with Ann Margret. Priscilla had just moved into Graceland in 1963 as she was turning 18. Elvis had made some promises to her father to marry Priscilla "some day," but there was NO formal commitment. Priscilla had NO HOLD on Elvis. Ann Margret was also NOT married at the time of their affair Elvis did NOT take any vows with Priscilla until 1967. Neither one of them kept the vows, and BOTH had affairs starting in 1968. Elvis tried to get Ann back, but she was married & loyal.
If we dont teach our children by living right, how will they know? 53% divorce rate. Broken home kids. The point is, we need to be faithful. We need to be true. Elvis had many women, before, during, & after Ann Margaret and Priscilla. Not condemning Elvis, Im condemning the behavior. There is no greater gift than your family. Its a deception to put other things above them. It hurts people. It destroys. I'm living proof. So are my parents. Mom with her 7 marriages, Dad with his. Hard life.
Adultery and fornication, God will judge. As much as I love Elvis, and JFK for that matter, nobody can break Gods law without paying the price for it. Priscilla loved her husband, but Elvis broke his vows and her heart. We reap what we sow. They dont call it forbidden fruit for nothing. "Forsaking all others...." Thats a VOW, and a promise that is meant to be kept.
If Elvis & AM had gotten married, hed still be alive today. Theyd be The King and Queen of Memphis. Glitzy, tacky, slightly embarrassing, but still iconic and legendary. What happened? The Colonel hated her; she wouldnt give up her career.
What did she get instead? A husband & manager that turned her into an A-list star. A great actress, supposedly. Sorta like turning Tina Turner into Diahann Carroll.
Its a shame elvis couldnt stay loyal to priscilla but when youve got so much power over the opposite sex, every mans dreams, i surpose its too hard to risk temptation
labrown92 Elvis wasn't married to Priscilla when he was with Ann. When it started Priscilla had only moved in a few months before, but he had made a promise to marry her "some day" All I can say about the rest is Elvis just loved women. He didn't have a problem with commitment so much as he had a problem with monogamy. Jerry said he thought "Elvis was at heart a one woman man, he just had many of those one women!"

Sorry for my really bad english! I know!
But i haven't got any time to learn it and make it better!
I learn spanish! Ok, Ann-Margret is a really talented andgood looking woman!!! But Elvis is my flaming star and to write a book about a friend is one thing. The other thing is to write a book about your ex-husband and tell something which has definitevly

And he looked and looked till the end, what was the biggest mistake in my life? So, have a look at the divorced people around you! What were they doing?
They married an affair like Ann-Margret, called it heartfelt love and are seeking after divorce or at their unhappy life in their unlucky marriage, for a beautiful person like cilla....! Some are dying hungry and some like winners....., that's the difference between humans and that's the truth.............hehe!

He was a very respectful person, but he never learned to have respect, for the most important things in a lifetime. It's not respectful to love someone for 91/2 weeks and marry another one and call it heartful!
What u see is what u get! You mustn't be a king, u can be a human like Cilla, and u have all the rights to say good bye! Simply sober!

Broken strings of pure chemistry with Ann-Margret for just 1 year! I must change all my knowledge about this Sexgod! What a poor boy, just 1 one year! So, everyone has his own opinion! I think the most people are looking for someone like a heartfelt love with Cilla and the combination of chemistry between both, that should last till the end.....!
There are loves one marries and then there are loves one never ever forgets. Ann Margaret was the latter for Elvis Presley. Their chemistry jumps out at you and can't be denied.
If you observe Elvis and Cilla you see pure heartfelt love, not the intense passion of pure chemistry as Elvis experienced with Ann Margaret. Both are real, both are valuable in their own ways.
zlatanja666 - you've no idea what you're talkin' about. 1st, Elvis & A-M loved each other. Priscilla WAS at the mansion, but she wasn't even 18 yrs old! She finished school & married Elvis several yrs later. Elvis & A-M remained friends even AFTER he married "Cilla." Technically, a man Elvis' age /w an underage girl livin' with him (parent's consent or not) was unacceptable. A-M & Roger were among the few invited to his funeral - explain that if A-M was SO awful? She didn't "sneak" in!
I agree Elvis and Ann Margret loved each other, I have to disagree on your time line on Elvis and Priscilla's relationship. They met in 9/59 when she was 14. He left Germany in 3/60, she made two 2 weeks visits in 62, and moved to Memphis in 3/63, and it was arranged for her to stay at his father and Dee's house. She was soon at Graceland, but she was born 5/24/45 so almost 18. Most states the legal age is 16, but 18 in TN. Anita Wood moved out 8/62, He met Ann Margret summer 63--juggling act!
She definitely knew about Ann Margret. In her interview for Peter Grualnick's book "Careless Love,"she said when she confronted him about Ann Margret, he told her exactly what had gone on, and she said it HURT a lot. I guess he was frank with her. I've always thought there might be a connection between Elvis coming to Ann in 67 to tell her how he still felt about her just before he was to announce Priscilla's pregnancy, and him asking Priscilla for a trial separation while she was pregnant.
In her book Priscilla said she told him "Fine, tell me when to leave," and he never spoke of it again. Of course he wasn't going to do that, but may have wanted to. As far as other women, she said in her book, she would get word back from the other wives when he was up to again, and said on last years TV special "Elvis: Viva Las Vegas." that she knew, but never said much. He had help in covering--In Vegas they would move her clothes, but started marking so they could get them back exact.
I wanted to add that Anita Wood has said she knew he had girls on the side who "put out," but her virgin claims are disputed by the sexy "Elvis love letter to Anita" on line.
Oh & one more thing: I loved Elvis then & now, but you're an even bigger idiot (if that's possible!) if you think for one second his "problems began" with women other than "Cilla." He was human! He had to live up to an "image" & as has happened to MANY in show business, it's easy to get caught up with drugs! He was sick & had an overdose. It can happen to the best of us & unfortunately it did...it happened to Elvis! ELVIS chose the lifestyle he led. I loved him, but THAT'S the truth!

The one and only big Love in his life was priscilla.
Ann-Margaret is a person with a fucking character!
And she isn't a loyal person. She was really selfcentered when she was having an affair with him, cause he had a relation-ship with cilla! Later times she made money with his name, and that is not loyal again. She was only a little fuck-affair in the life of a KING!
She is a class act! No wonder Elvis loved her. But due to careers and their management it was thought that if they really came together and marrired their careers would be destroyed. Too bad I think they would have been happy together. She has never betrayed his trust unlike others. 2 Great people who were manipulated by others, but maybe one day they'll sing together again in another place with no crap and be happy.
you know what i apologize for even commenting in the first place! I should have known better that i'm talking to Major ELVIS fans. And i have to say Fans are just weird people, that are obsessed with people that they don't even know. For god's sake, guys you don't even know elvis, and him doing other good stuff for people dont justify the bad ones he did. all i'm saying is that it seems that this group is willing to defend a dead man that neither of you met.
Sorry Americabarba if being a fan means that you are obsessed, its not obsession its called loyalty to a man who brought happiness into people's lives through his music, and as far as not knowing him well we can say that about alot of people who touch our lives somehow but don't know, sometimes they affect our lives more than the people we do know personally. Oh and about defending a dead man that neither of us have met well why do you defend a women you never met?
just because i like elvis dont make me an obsessed fan or weired it seems the only wierd one here is you your defending a woman who you know nothing about what are you an obsessed wiered pricilla fan elvis was a very thoughtfull considerate man who gave the world his music a gift from god what did pricilla give the world nothing but humiliating her husband and using his money for fame and still getting his money and profiting from his death
I am a huge Elvis fan and I am the first to admit that, while he did many wonderful things for people, and had a lot of wonderful qualities, he was a horrible husband. The way he played women was atrocious.
maybe woman played him ....and priscilla knew what she was doing, she was a fan of his at 14 and knew his lifestyle when she met him she new exactly what she was getting into when she said i do and now she is making money off of him she is worth more now then she was when he was alive
Elvis cheated on priscilla 24/7. Never believed on a monogamous relationship, and he loved him self more than he could have ever loved any woman. No woman deserves to be mistreated and unappreciated. Being the king of rock doesn't give him divine rights for a woman to put up with his bull shit, sure he was a great singer but never a great husband. This said: good for pricila!! and as for Ann margaret all i can say is that she is a weirdo!! just look at her interviews.
Americabarba, and why did she not leave before she married him? She knew all these things about him when she was living with him and still stayed why? I have my opinions why but I will never convince the Priscilla camp so I won't even try, I just know that she should have expected the life she had with this most desired and gorgeous man, she did not have blinders on during those 6 years before she married him.
i totally agree with you elvis freak its ok for pricilla to ruin his reputation and talk about his private life to the world he didnt have much privacy to begin with and to take what little he had left and try to ruin him and let me say its ok that she didnt want anything to do with him while they were married and but can live off his money now that he is gone thats just idiotic
Okay, first of all, I didn't know there was a "Priscilla camp." Before she married him, yes, she SHOULD have known better, BUT for one thing she was 21 years old and had lived in a bubble at Graceland since she was 16.All the guys say that she thought she was going to change Elvis once they were married. She thought they would have a domestic life. That confirms what she wrote in her book.I really don't like P much, but get off thinking Elvis was some kind of saint.
How in the world could she possibly have thought they would have a domestic life, she knew the world he lived in, she must have thought that thing was lined with gold to make him, one of the most desired of men look the other way, and I know Elvis was no saint, I just think he brought alot of joy to many people and if you can think she was so special than I can of him.
if he loved himself more then others then why did he buy a stranger a new cadillac and why did he give so much to the people around him including his back up singers the jordineers he always thought more of others them himself so he cheated pricilla was no angel and she new how he was before they got married
its hard to cheat on someone 24/7 elvis slept all day and was up all night he did movies concerts and was in his recording studio when did he have the time to cheat 24/7 and what bad things did elvis do he may have cheated but did he rob steal kill rape or molest no he gave to charities and gave to the people around him strangers and his loved ones wow that makes his so terrible lets mark his grave with the sign of the devil
Thank you for capturing the chemistry of Elvis and Ann Margret, which was so obvious in Viva Las Vegas. Your selection of photographs couldn't have been any better. Elvis was 28 and Ann Margret 22 at the time Viva Las Vegas was filmed in 1963. Ann Margret was the only one of Elvis' co-stars to attend his funeral in 1977; they remained friends until his death. She is also the only person who has not revealed any information about their relationship. Again a wonderful video. Thank you!
grabar20 what the hell does that mean if he married Joe Esposito he might still be around? That is a disgusting statement and uncalled for but hey I would expect that coming from a Priscilla fan.
oh get a life, its a joke,if Joe Esposito, was his wife he might have been able to get a grip of elvis, get him stright, off the drugs, what elvis did, he knew what he was doing, and lets just get this right,if he had not died in 1977,he would not be as big today, people forget that........long live the king........
im not convinced that elvis & ann-margaret were an item for 12 mnths, maybe they had a fling or something!look at her body language on ann talks about elvis! she gives not much eye contact and seems to smirk, at the end of the day we know he wasn't faithfull, he had the world at his feet, but i do believe that priscilla was his only true love & lisa marie was his world, & he took that to his grave. god bless him, 31 yrs later he is still sadly missed.
pears435, don't talk about Ann like she was the whore and Priscilla was a saint, Priscilla was no saint, in fact she was guilty of being quite the vain tramp she was, she cheated on Elvis when Lisa Marie was 4 months old with her dance intructor, then when Lisa was 4 years old she had an affair with Mike Stone, so who is the whore Ann not being married to him or Priscilla who married him and was supposed to be his wife, you get it right!
Try to understand, she had an affair with a dance instructor when Lisa was 4 months old, then she had an affair with Mike Stone, a karate instuctor when Lisa was 4 years old, she had an affair with both, two separate men, now you get it right.
i totally agree with you elvisfreak priscilla was no saint and maybe elvis would be alive if she was a better wife that man was crushed and devestated when she asked for a divorce right before his concert what a bitch
If you know anything about their life you would know that
1.Priscilla was too young to know how to be anybody's wife much less Elvis'
2.He wouldn't LET her be even a normal wife no less HIS.The guys were around constantly even on their honeymoon.Elvis cheated on her without a second thought.Yes, he was crushed when she left him but what could he expect? His life was beyond bizarre and intolerable for any self respecting woman.I love Elvis but that part of his life was disgraceful.
Priscilla was young but mature for her age even at 14 when they met, she was incouraged by her parents especially her mother to be that way. You are listening to her account after the fact that Elvis cannot defend himself against her story, if she divorced him then why is she still living off him? For someone who wanted nothing to do with his life after the divorce she sure has plenty to say now that he is gone.
When elvis died he had nothing, all the things you see today about elvis are down to priscilla, she has kept him alive, and she did it fore her daughter lisa marie....not herself..............good old Priscilla.....
grabar20, yeah right good old Priscilla,(rolling eyes) she has never done anything for anyone but herself, you need several years of reading and watching to see the truth, Priscilla has always been a vain, selfish woman and everything she has ever done for Graceland she did for herself first and foremost, and if it happens to fool the fans and make herself look like a saint all the more for her as she would think, she has always had a way of covering up for what she really is like inside.
I guess she killed two birds with one stone, how she manages to come out smelling like a rose covered in crap I will never know but she does, keeping him alive and current? I thought the fans did that.
you know what that part of his life was his life and his personal life why should you or anyone taint him for how he lived his life im sure you do things in your life that people dont approve of and at times may have been disgraceful does that make you a devil or bad person your right priscilla was young her parents should have known better
Hey i am a big elvis fan,and what you have just said hear is a load of bull.elvis would be alive if she was a better wife, tat,he kept her locked up most of the time,so he could go out and put his dick into any tart that came along, would you put up with that.......no,i rest my case.....................
for someone who is a big elvis fan you know absolutly nothing and what are you jealous he didnt put is dick into your tart priscilla knew the life style before she married him and in the end she made a name for herself by being married to elvis she is still making money off of him shame on her that money should go to his daughter and grandchildren but you can think what you want your a cilla fan
@oOoOerwteumenhOoOo thats your opinion and your fully titled to sharing it and having one i think other wise elvis was dead set against drugs he took prescription drugs a pill to sleep a pill to wake up everyone seems to forget there was no toxicolgy report that says otherwise all it states was he died from cardiac arrest and even that is still un clear who cares how he died or why lets just remember him as a great entertainer and charitable man
I in no way EVER approve of adultery. BUT, Priscilla was virtually abandoned by the time Lisa was around. Elvis was off with the guys on tour living the playboy life, he wouldn't sleep with her once she became a mother, he didn't want her to have any kind of job or more schooling, she was basically sitting in a huge empty mansion waiting for him to come home. She was no saint, but no woman could put up with that. I'm a huge Elvis fan, but his life was tragic and out of control to say the least.
It would have been nice to have heard Elvis' account but we only have heard Priscilla's account of the marriage, again she did not have blinders on and knew what life was like before she married him, I doubt she would have been happy with him for the fact that she was not the kind of woman that could have stayed with one man herself, you give her so much credit, I don't.
I wonder how it would've been if they had ended up together?

I LOVE Mr.

Elvis had an amazing talent and was the ultimate superstar as far as being human was concerned in the entertainment business! He had it all the voice the looks everything a man could want. Money, fame and just about any woman in the world in his time! A heavy burden and emotional price for anyone to carry for such fame. Guys he was human and like the rest of us had faults. Let him rest and remember what he brought to the world!

@lofatmat I will absolutly agree with you on that one. ELVIS could have had any woman he ever met . You keep your man happy he has no need for anyone else.

Also, everyone knew when the affair began!
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 8
Elvis always had feelings for Ann because he went to her in 67 just before he was to announce Priscilla's pregnancy to tell Ann how happy she had made him and how he still felt about her. His father & two entourage went with him. Elvis also tried to get her back after his separation. She only speaks of one time, but others say it was more. On Memphis Mafia Remembers they call it a "toss up" between Priscilla & Ann. Elvis was impressed by more than her movie knowledge--how about her sex appeal,
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 51
her body, her beauty, her matching personality with Elvis: shy, reserved, loyal & sweet, but a wild performer! He had a mature relationship with Ann with both love and heat, Ann showed she wanted to GIVE LOVE to the real man in her interview when she said "I wanted that for him." The promises Elvis had to make to marry Priscilla is what kept them apart. If Elvis had wanted to marry Priscilla so badly, why didn't he do that when she was 18 & moved to Graceland?
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 56
And yes Ann was a big star and great Golden Globe winning & Academy Award nominated actress who is still acting & sometimes performing.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 3
@epmelodygirl According to some the reason was because he didn't want to marry her, but her father (technically step father) said he would press child rape charges on Elvis if he didn't marry her like he promised that he would when he made the deal when she went out there. I respect Priscilla as the only woman to ever have been Elvis' wife and mother to his only child (no matter what claims people make) but read the book Child Bride by Suzanne Finstead if you can find it-Ann was Elvis' true love
amberjade11 3 months ago
@amberjade11 Yes. That is so true. When Prissy flew from Germany and visited Elvis in California, Elvis took her across state lines to Las Vegas. She was only 15 at the time. That is considered a felony. Her step-father and mother required that Prissy send them a post-card each day she stayed in California. Elvis told Prissy to make out 6 different post-cards and Elvis's friends would send one each day to fulfill the agreement. He was rapist of sorts.
cobalt100 3 months ago
@cobalt100 I agree 100%. From what many who knew Priscilla's family at the time say the deal that Elvis made with Paul Beaulieu (Priscilla's step father who adopted her) was more like a business deal than a parent sending their daughter off to live with her boyfriend. I don't know if I believe it, but it's hard to imagine a parent sending their teen to live with the biggest sex symbol in the world-and this was in the 60's!!! I have a daughter and there is no way in 100 hells I would allow it!
amberjade11 3 months ago
@amberjade11 Well everyone isn't like yourself. My mother got with my dad in 1960 when she was 15 and he was 31 and her parents sent her to be with him in 1961 when she had just turned 16 and he was 32. An even bigger age difference than Elvis and Priscilla. They are still together.
MusicGirl1980 1 month ago
@MusicGirl1980 Well then in my opinion they are piss poor parents. Any GOOD mother would never in a million years send their child to live with a man twice their age. And there is something wrong with a 32 year old man that is sexually attracted to a child, that is called pedophilia. Whether they are still together is irrelevant. Sixteen year old's should be focusing on school, and being a teenager, not sleeping with men twice their age. Your grandparents should be locked up.
amberjade11 1 month ago
@cobalt100 I want to make a correction to my previously stated comment. Priscilla was 17 at the time. Not 15. Sorry.
cobalt100 3 months ago
@cobalt100 They didn't have sex until their wedding night.
MusicGirl1980 1 month ago
@cobalt100 What "rapist"! She agreed to do so, didn't she. It wasn't like he was pointing a gun in her head, to be with him- she did it all at her free will! And her parents saw a great deal in that- and took a chance. I would never allow my 14 years old daughter to live with a mature man like Elvis was at a time.If I would do so, even now in 21st century , I would be pointed as a child molester.
zujo1 1 month ago
@zujo1 It depends on the legal age of consent. In my state the legal age of consent is 16 years old. No child under the age of 16 can legally consent to sex with an adult. Whether they agree to it or not. That is what statutory rape means. And I agree. Hell would freeze over before I ever sent my 16 year old across the world to live with a man-the biggest sex symbol in the world at that. I would have the bastard put it jail first.
amberjade11 1 month ago
@epmelodygirl I don't know if it's true (who will ever know) but I read that Elvis wanted a girl who would be the "stay at home type" (and this really sounds like Elvis) and Ann-Margaret wanted a "career" and this went against what Elvis wanted and this is why he chose Priscilla. If only he had known this would be his undoing!

AuroraBorealisAK 2 years ago
Parts of the book are okay, but she has refuted those "tech" virgin bride claims in later interviews saying "Of course we were having sex." I understand why she did that originally to negate all the accusations Elvis was forced to marry her because they had sex when she was 14. I don't believe it was when she was 14 because her parents would have acted sooner although she shows more happening in her movie than the book. It's possible when she was 17 or it was that crossing states lines, but
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 6
for what ever reason Elvis HAD to make promises that even Guralnik's book says Elvis resented & eventually kept him apart from Ann. I think that he loved Priscilla, but he wasn't IN love with her like with Ann. With Ann he had a mature relationship with heat and love like it should be. In the book Priscilla is on a pedestal more than the movie. Of course some of it may be the beady eyed actor they have playing Elvis, but it is also the story.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 6
which shows Priscilla an innocent victim of his control, temper, drug use, & his sexual neglect of her while he was with other women,& this is all before they married so it makes you wonder why she married him. I think most of it is an excuse for her own affairs because I have never heard another woman say this. Ann Margret says the opposite. This is all opinion about her movie, but everything below is fact from Guralnick's Careless Love & Elvis; Day by Day, Pris book & movie, & Ann's book.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 4
I'd like to add one more thing that I've said before and is just my opinion. From their body language, and expressions, it seem Ann Margret was more concerned with giving love to Elvis the man, and Priscilla was more concerned with pleasing the icon, and it shows. Later this pleasing turned into resentment on Priscilla's part & possibly on Elvis's too.

NO elvis and priscilla where the Perfect match. Nobody comes close to cilla in my eyes.
AuroraBorealisAK 2 years ago
You need to study their relationship, and if you look at her movie Elvis & Me, it seems Priscilla almost hated him and portrays him as a monster. Their time line shows large gaps in the relationship partly because she was so young when they met in Germany in 9/59, but were not exclusive--he had a lot girlfriends over there. Her bDay is 5/24/45, and after he left Germany in3/63, they both dated others for the next 3 yrs. She kept writing asking to visit & he hadn't called in months when...
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 2
he finally called to ask her to visit which she did when she was 17 for 2 visits of 2 wks each in the summer of 62 in CA with a trip to Vegas and to Graceland at Christmas. Anita Wood moved out of Graceland 8/62 between Priscilla's visits when she heard Elvis trying to decide between them--most sources have it this way, but Priscilla has Elvis dumping Anita. Anne Helm stayed at Graceland between Anita & Priscilla, & said everybody would leave on cue when she & Elvis wanted to make love.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 2
One CORRECTION: Elvis left Germany in MARCH 1960 when Priscilla was almost 15. Priscilla moved to Graceland 3/63 at almost 18, & Elvis had to make promises to her father to marry her some day. The reasons for these promises are unclear, but not related to anything that happened when she was 14 or her parents would have acted sooner! Elvis met, had an affair with & fell in love with Ann Margret in 7/63, but "Elvis had promises to keep" Elvis did try to get Ann back after his separation in 72.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 4
I don't see "perfect match" with Elvis & Priscilla at all. When you are BOTH having affairs within a year after the marriage in 68; in 69 Elvis is seen in the casino making out with two beauties & when told how good he looked said "That's what a bad marriage will do for you;" by 70 Elvis is saying he & Priscilla have an arrangement--an "open" Marriage, & he starts several long term affairs; by 71 Priscilla is with Mike Stone who she leaves Elvis for, I just don't see "perfect match."
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 5
epmelodygirl, sweet baby of love, did you know that Dwight Yoakam was the first one to say, If Elvis & Ann-Margret had gotten married, Elvis would still be alive today. Its true! They even use the fact Elvis respected women and a girls virginity against him!
epmelodygirl 2 years ago

There is too much to say, pls keep in mind I love Elvis dearly.
gstuart01 2 years ago
Joe Espesito said, "we all cheated on our wives, we all got divorces". Who are "we"? All of Elvis' friends, coworkers in the business, But they didnt get a divorce from Elvis. Love of money, love of fame. Pills, lust, drunkenness, total destruction in the end. They put it ABOVE their families. They know better now. So do I. I'de give anything if he would have STOPPED his sinning, and millions would have too. He had that kind of influence. But it went the other way. So which way will we go now?
gstuart01 2 years ago
Do you really think Elvis had that kind of influence? That is ridiculous because even though he was seen as a "bad boy" rebel rocker in the 1950s, most people didn't even know much about Elvis's many women or his prescription drug use until near the end of his life when that book came out. To blame anything Elvis did for your own bad behavior is STUPID!
epmelodygirl 2 years ago 3
Of course Elvis is forgiven, because he accepted Jesus Christ as his savoir, and so am I, but Elvis, like myself, went astray and people got hurt. The point I want to make is, people worship stars, & because of that, many go astray. There is only one King, and He alone deserves to be worshipped, and if we follow Him instead of our lust, our vanity, and our pride, we will NOT go wrong, not hurt ourselves and others, and if our kids follow us, they wont go wrong either.
What r our kids worth?
gstuart01 2 years ago

Anne Margaret was so hot!!
cricketbat08 2 years ago
It was NOT adultery with Ann Margret. Priscilla had just moved into Graceland in 1963 as she was turning 18. Elvis had made some promises to her father to marry Priscilla "some day," but there was NO formal commitment. Priscilla had NO HOLD on Elvis. Ann Margret was also NOT married at the time of their affair Elvis did NOT take any vows with Priscilla until 1967. Neither one of them kept the vows, and BOTH had affairs starting in 1968. Elvis tried to get Ann back, but she was married & loyal.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago
If we dont teach our children by living right, how will they know? 53% divorce rate. Broken home kids. The point is, we need to be faithful. We need to be true. Elvis had many women, before, during, & after Ann Margaret and Priscilla. Not condemning Elvis, Im condemning the behavior. There is no greater gift than your family. Its a deception to put other things above them. It hurts people. It destroys. I'm living proof. So are my parents. Mom with her 7 marriages, Dad with his. Hard life.
gstuart01 2 years ago
Adultery and fornication, God will judge. As much as I love Elvis, and JFK for that matter, nobody can break Gods law without paying the price for it. Priscilla loved her husband, but Elvis broke his vows and her heart. We reap what we sow. They dont call it forbidden fruit for nothing. "Forsaking all others...." Thats a VOW, and a promise that is meant to be kept.
gstuart01 2 years ago
If Elvis & AM had gotten married, hed still be alive today. Theyd be The King and Queen of Memphis. Glitzy, tacky, slightly embarrassing, but still iconic and legendary. What happened? The Colonel hated her; she wouldnt give up her career.
What did she get instead? A husband & manager that turned her into an A-list star. A great actress, supposedly. Sorta like turning Tina Turner into Diahann Carroll.
Was it worth it? Only AM can answer that.

When it started Priscilla had only moved in a few months before, but he had made a promise to marry her "some day" All I can say about the rest is Elvis just loved women.

I think the most people are looking for someone like a heartfelt love with Cilla and the combination of chemistry between both, that should last till the end.....!
zlatanja666 2 years ago
There are loves one marries and then there are loves one never ever forgets. Ann Margaret was the latter for Elvis Presley. Their chemistry jumps out at you and can't be denied.
If you observe Elvis and Cilla you see pure heartfelt love, not the intense passion of pure chemistry as Elvis experienced with Ann Margaret. Both are real, both are valuable in their own ways.

He found her in Ginger, but at the same time he called for "beautiful Cilla" to come back to him..........!
That's the truth.............!
His problems began with little "starlets" like Ann-Margret, she was a really fucking unloyal BITCH!!!
zlatanja666 2 years ago
zlatanja666 - you've no idea what you're talkin' about. She didn't "sneak" in!
milliondollarredhead 2 years ago 2
I agree Elvis and Ann Margret loved each other, I have to disagree on your time line on Elvis and Priscilla's relationship. They met in 9/59 when she was 14. He left Germany in 3/60, she made two 2 weeks visits in 62, and moved to Memphis in 3/63, and it was arranged for her to stay at his father and Dee's house. She was soon at Graceland, but she was born 5/24/45 so almost 18. Most states the legal age is 16, but 18 in TN. Anita Wood moved out 8/62, He met Ann Margret summer 63--juggling act!

i wonder if cilla ever knew 100% about his affairs... or if she played dumb...
julianajuliana 2 years ago
She definitely knew about Ann Margret. In her interview for Peter Grualnick's book "Careless Love,"she said when she confronted him about Ann Margret, he told her exactly what had gone on, and she said it HURT a lot. I guess he was frank with her. I've always thought there might be a connection between Elvis coming to Ann in 67 to tell her how he still felt about her just before he was to announce Priscilla's pregnancy, and him asking Priscilla for a trial separation while she was pregnant.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago
In her book Priscilla said she told him "Fine, tell me when to leave," and he never spoke of it again. Of course he wasn't going to do that, but may have wanted to. As far as other women, she said in her book, she would get word back from the other wives when he was up to again, and said on last years TV special "Elvis: Viva Las Vegas." that she knew, but never said much. He had help in covering--In Vegas they would move her clothes, but started marking so they could get them back exact.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago
I wanted to add that Anita Wood has said she knew he had girls on the side who "put out," but her virgin claims are disputed by the sexy "Elvis love letter to Anita" on line.
epmelodygirl 2 years ago

Americabarba 3 years ago
Sorry Americabarba if being a fan means that you are obsessed, its not obsession its called loyalty to a man who brought happiness into people's lives through his music, and as far as not knowing him well we can say that about alot of people who touch our lives somehow but don't know, sometimes they affect our lives more than the people we do know personally. Oh and about defending a dead man that neither of us have met well why do you defend a women you never met?
ElvisFreak77 3 years ago
just because i like elvis dont make me an obsessed fan or weired it seems the only wierd one here is you your defending a woman who you know nothing about what are you an obsessed wiered pricilla fan elvis was a very thoughtfull considerate man who gave the world his music a gift from god what did pricilla give the world nothing but humiliating her husband and using his money for fame and still getting his money and profiting from his death

staceysouza 2 years ago
Elvis cheated on priscilla 24/7. Never believed on a monogamous relationship, and he loved him self more than he could have ever loved any woman. No woman deserves to be mistreated and unappreciated. Being the king of rock doesn't give him divine rights for a woman to put up with his bull shit, sure he was a great singer but never a great husband. This said: good for pricila!! and as for Ann margaret all i can say is that she is a weirdo!! just look at her interviews.
Americabarba 3 years ago
Americabarba, and why did she not leave before she married him? She knew all these things about him when she was living with him and still stayed why? I have my opinions why but I will never convince the Priscilla camp so I won't even try, I just know that she should have expected the life she had with this most desired and gorgeous man, she did not have blinders on during those 6 years before she married him.
ElvisFreak77 3 years ago
i totally agree with you elvis freak its ok for pricilla to ruin his reputation and talk about his private life to the world he didnt have much privacy to begin with and to take what little he had left and try to ruin him and let me say its ok that she didnt want anything to do with him while they were married and but can live off his money now that he is gone thats just idiotic
staceysouza 3 years ago
Okay, first of all, I didn't know there was a "Priscilla camp." Before she married him, yes, she SHOULD have known better, BUT for one thing she was 21 years old and had lived in a bubble at Graceland since she was 16.All the guys say that she thought she was going to change Elvis once they were married. She thought they would have a domestic life. That confirms what she wrote in her book.I really don't like P much, but get off thinking Elvis was some kind of saint.
ScarlettRhiannon 3 years ago
How in the world could she possibly have thought they would have a domestic life, she knew the world he lived in, she must have thought that thing was lined with gold to make him, one of the most desired of men look the other way, and I know Elvis was no saint, I just think he brought alot of joy to many people and if you can think she was so special than I can of him.
ElvisFreak77 3 years ago
if he loved himself more then others then why did he buy a stranger a new cadillac and why did he give so much to the people around him including his back up singers the jordineers he always thought more of others them himself so he cheated pricilla was no angel and she new how he was before they got married
staceysouza 3 years ago
its hard to cheat on someone 24/7 elvis slept all day and was up all night he did movies concerts and was in his recording studio when did he have the time to cheat 24/7 and what bad things did elvis do he may have cheated but did he rob steal kill rape or molest no he gave to charities and gave to the people around him strangers and his loved ones wow that makes his so terrible lets mark his grave with the sign of the devil

Thank you!

im not convinced that elvis & ann-margaret were an item for 12 mnths, maybe they had a fling or something!look at her body language on ann talks about elvis! she gives not much eye contact and seems to smirk, at the end of the day we know he wasn't faithfull, he had the world at his feet, but i do believe that priscilla was his only true love & lisa marie was his world, & he took that to his grave. god bless him, 31 yrs later he is still sadly missed.

pears435, don't talk about Ann like she was the whore and Priscilla was a saint, Priscilla was no saint, in fact she was guilty of being quite the vain tramp she was, she cheated on Elvis when Lisa Marie was 4 months old with her dance intructor, then when Lisa was 4 years old she had an affair with Mike Stone, so who is the whore Ann not being married to him or Priscilla who married him and was supposed to be his wife, you get it right!

Try to understand, she had an affair with a dance instructor when Lisa was 4 months old, then she had an affair with Mike Stone, a karate instuctor when Lisa was 4 years old, she had an affair with both, two separate men, now you get it right.

i totally agree with you elvisfreak priscilla was no saint and maybe elvis would be alive if she was a better wife that man was crushed and devestated when she asked for a divorce right before his concert what a bitch
staceysouza 3 years ago
If you know anything about their life you would know that
1.Priscilla was too young to know how to be anybody's wife much less Elvis'
2.He wouldn't LET her be even a normal wife no less HIS.The guys were around constantly even on their honeymoon.Elvis cheated on her without a second thought.Yes, he was crushed when she left him but what could he expect? His life was beyond bizarre and intolerable for any self respecting woman.I love Elvis but that part of his life was disgraceful.
ScarlettRhiannon 3 years ago
Priscilla was young but mature for her age even at 14 when they met, she was incouraged by her parents especially her mother to be that way. You are listening to her account after the fact that Elvis cannot defend himself against her story, if she divorced him then why is she still living off him? For someone who wanted nothing to do with his life after the divorce she sure has plenty to say now that he is gone.
ElvisFreak77 3 years ago
When elvis died he had nothing, all the things you see today about elvis are down to priscilla, she has kept him alive, and she did it fore her daughter lisa marie....not herself..............good old Priscilla.....
grabar20 3 years ago
grabar20, yeah right good old Priscilla,(rolling eyes) she has never done anything for anyone but herself, you need several years of reading and watching to see the truth, Priscilla has always been a vain, selfish woman and everything she has ever done for Graceland she did for herself first and foremost, and if it happens to fool the fans and make herself look like a saint all the more for her as she would think, she has always had a way of covering up for what she really is like inside.
ElvisFreak77 3 years ago
That's true. I'm not crazy about her, but she has done an amazing job of keeping him alive and current.
ScarlettRhiannon 3 years ago
I guess she killed two birds with one stone, how she manages to come out smelling like a rose covered in crap I will never know but she does, keeping him alive and current? I thought the fans did that.

you know what that part of his life was his life and his personal life why should you or anyone taint him for how he lived his life im sure you do things in your life that people dont approve of and at times may have been disgraceful does that make you a devil or bad person your right priscilla was young her parents should have known better

@oOoOerwteumenhOoOo thats your opinion and your fully titled to sharing it and having one i think other wise elvis was dead set against drugs he took prescription drugs a pill to sleep a pill to wake up everyone seems to forget there was no toxicolgy report that says otherwise all it states was he died from cardiac arrest and even that is still un clear who cares how he died or why lets just remember him as a great entertainer and charitable man
staceysouza 1 year ago
I in no way EVER approve of adultery. BUT, Priscilla was virtually abandoned by the time Lisa was around. Elvis was off with the guys on tour living the playboy life, he wouldn't sleep with her once she became a mother, he didn't want her to have any kind of job or more schooling, she was basically sitting in a huge empty mansion waiting for him to come home. She was no saint, but no woman could put up with that. I'm a huge Elvis fan, but his life was tragic and out of control to say the least.
ScarlettRhiannon 3 years ago
It would have been nice to have heard Elvis' account but we only have heard Priscilla's account of the marriage, again she did not have blinders on and knew what life was like before she married him, I doubt she would have been happy with him for the fact that she was not the kind of woman that could have stayed with one man herself, you give her so much credit, I don't.
