I used to support President Obama, back when he campaigned as a Social Democrat. These past few years have illustrated that the President is not a very apt negotiator. The President has thus far been unable to resolve the issue of an obstructionist opposition party and been unable to reign his own party into a system of coherent collaboration.
I'm all for a Social Democracy in the US, but first we need able leadership to establish it. I thought this was it, and I was wrong.

@DrBandrew That's part of the problem, but the bigger problem came from Unions spending too much for their employees benefits and pensions which subesquently caused GM to start cutting its work force and sending it's jobs to other countries until it got so bad that they went bankrupt and Obama had spend alot of tax payers dollars to make up for the unrealisitc spending that the GM Unions were doing.
I know what socialism is. Alot of Democrats today are socialist and it's very very scary.

@DrBandrew That's not the soul reason why they went bankrupt though. Sure it was a contributing factor, but the unrealisitic pensions they were paying per capita were beyond their means and that ultimatley is what hammered the last nail in their coffin.
You should do your research on this to know exactly why they went bankrupt. There are plenty of people who used to work there in detroit that will tell you GM fell under because of their Union policies. Just do a google search and see yourself.
