Hey watch a video called Ramones-Baby I love You, they have violins and they are covering a 50's love song. Its not pun kat all. The Ramones have ton of poppy love songs such as 7-11, Baby I love You(cover), Needles and Pins(cover), bye bye baby, she belongs to me, ect. I think I would have to agree with Chesto18. Punk isn't really punk anymore when all the bands copy each other by trying to sound the same. Punk was created out of individuality. So if dressing the same, acting the same, and saying the same things things that have already been said before is a way to fit into punk, then it defeats the whole purpose of what punk was about in the first place.

I like punk but this is shit. Its all been done before,and better. There's alot of shit around nowadays, so much of it gets through. It seems that if you play punk,you can get a record contract whatever. Nothing ever seems to change in Punk Rock. It sounds exactly the same now as it did 10+ years ago, same riffs, basslines, drum beats, everything. Thats all good if you're really into it, but if you've heard a shit load of it before it sounds tired. The punk scene needs a big kick up the arse.
