  • How does such a bad ass band turn out such a bunch of whiney ass complainers. Wtf? Enjoy the GOD DAMN song.

  • "evil surf gothic punk'' haha

  • I accepted my victory as soon as you started the personal insults which I might add was fairly quick. I was expecting more of an argument but clearly that didn't pan out. You stated "facts" without proof, quoted what I can only guess is a definition without citing it, and even added to said definition. I'm just disappointed that you aren't able to open your mind to other possibilities rather than your own.

  • @Knarf009 There is no proof that Jesus was returned exactly the same. He could've been a bit more mentally unstable.

Before you go spouting out insults about retardation, perhaps you should do YOUR research. One cannot stop being retarded. This may explain your predicament.

  • @sirzombiehunter429 Hahahaha you're seriously grasping at straws. Is it really that hard to accept that you're wrong?

  • @Knarf009 You are applying one definition of zombie. With so many styles, one can't determine that there is only one right answer.

  • @sirzombiehunter429 No, a zombie isn't a zombie if it fully retains both its' appearance and full mental faculties before death. No matter what, a zombie is a being altered from their prior state of being, while someone who is resurrected is returned to their prior state of being. There is no interpretation of a "zombie" that is analogous to any resurrection as described in the bible.

You're a moron, please stop being so completely and unrelentingly retarded.

  • best thing about the stories of jesus: the fact that he became a zombie! possibly god's sick joke.

  • @sirzombiehunter429 Zombie "the body of a dead person given the semblance of life, but mute and will-less, by a supernatural force, usually for some evil purpose. "

    Jesus wasn't made a zombie.

  • i saw them live at the newport jockey club and got an autographed album!!!!

  • Social Tomb!

  • I remember in early 83? that goofy metal band Megadeath opened for 45Grave at Club Lingerie.....that was a royal crushing for those hippies. 45Grave had serious musicianship, tight as hell and had excellent dynamics. One of the best bands I ever saw in the punk scene.

  • whoa what version is this? its better!

  • I met Dinah Cancer when Grave performed here in New York. She is the most wonderful, sweetest, most down to earth woman i have ever head pleasure of meeting. Support 45 Grave all the way!!! Let them inspire you!!!

  • @MilleniumKing13 - Yes she is. I also met her on a few occasions and she is cool people. Old skool baby

  • @TheZunigal fuck yeah!!! theyre playing all these shows in cali. i feel like going over there one day just to see them again. all the way from fucking new york. Californians are lucky to have such amazing deathrock scene alive there

  • Here are some of the old punk bands I remember. Rudementary Peni, Crass, Deak Kennedy's, Descendents, D.R.I., J.F.A., Seven Seconds, Boston Not LA, Flex Your Head, Hell Comes to your House, G.B.H., Fear, Circle Jerks, Necros. I want all of you to consider getting saved...Jesus is way cool, laid back, and could care less about your past. If the Son set's you Free, you are free indeed. Church is a hospital for sinners not a museum of saints. Many of my old punk friends go to Calvary Chapel.

  • @gfc92592 No one is buying what you're selling. Just because you knew good bands & once knew some people doesn't mean much. We're here to enjoy music, and while I happen to also be against materialism and reach for that ideal known as "peace," your preaching is unwanted. Believe as you wish, but as far as I'm concerned, Christianity (and most religions) are evil. Peace & religion don't go together and I won't bow to some monster that murdered millions of children in Egypt in your "good book."

  • @OdinPwnsSatansCunt Ignore that guy, he's been spamming punk videos (mainly crass) with that bullshit. Better not give him the attention he wants.

  • Punk bands would show up at my buddy Scott's house and I would drive them to the beach in the back of my truck. D.R.I. and J.F.A. are the two I remember. Pro skater turned movie star Jason Lee (What about Earl) would also show up at Scott's to skate the Half Pipe in the backyard. It was a lot of fun and I always had the hottest looking chicks. We would surf in the morning, skate in the afternoon, and go snowboarding at night sometimes.

  • @gfc92592 -_- Now I know you're just crazy.

  • you guys are all gonna burn and you can have this crappy world and the emptyness of materialism which is all you get...shallow crap is all this world has to offer. If you want to have peace, then, you must turn to the Prince of Peace--Jesus. I did twenty years ago and can say from experience that the Christian life is the best life one can live. I used to be a hard core punk, skater, surfer, martial artist etc. Cooler than all you clowns.

  • @gfc92592 this whole post makes you so "uncool" like a ranting retard it's not even funny... good lame rant though i guess. all i really got out of it was balh blah blah blah i'm a broken down loser i love god blah blah... go preach or some shit man. wow.

  • @gfc92592 GO FUCK YOUR JESUS AND GET-THE-FUCK-OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!!!!

  • @srpsk1komun1sta Jesus is a name not a title, so the possessive "your" doesn't make sense there. Your grammar needs some serious work. How are you going to condescend to religious people and spout out about your deluded sense of "intelligence" if you can't even speak English properly?

You're not off to a good start.

  • @Knarf009 Not true. In this situation it does work, considering Jesus is a fictional character created by the Holy Church in order to create a character oppisite from our God: One of understanding. God was never the understanding type.

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz Hahahaha you've never even read the bible and know absolutely nothing about history. Nobody with even an ounce of credibility in the archaeological community believes Jesus wasn't a real person. The only thing disputed is whether or not he actually performed miracles. It's like you watched half of a day-time documentary on the discovery channel and suddenly think you know something about history. XD

  • @Knarf009 Actually, since there is no actual bones or any evidence suggesting Jesus was a real person, no one with a brain believes he's real at all. -shakes head- People like you truly scare me.

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz Do you understand what critical thinking is? If Jesus never existed then why did nobody refute that to begin with? You have a huge following forming around the teaching of a man and none of the officials that are banning their preaching work and persecuting them ever point out that the man didn't exist? And why would people go to such lengths to make Jesus up? They stood to gain nothing, the early congregations were entirely funded by voluntary donations, not collections.

  • @Knarf009 Why did J.K. Rowling make up Harry Potter? -_- You know.... people like to believe in things. The reason they believed in Jesus was not because they had proof of him existing. It was because travelling actors came to their town showing them plays about this fictional character... and they wanted to believe such a good person existed. Nothing more.

And now you're just preaching nonsense. Show me his bones, and I will believe.

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz Pontius Pilate has archaeological evidence supporting his existence. Yet there is no record of him denying Jesus existed. Even more so, there is evidence of Tiberius who at the time was referring to himself as the son of god, a common practice among emperors. This fact explains why it was such a big deal that Jesus was calling himself the Son of God and why Pilate became fearful when the Jews told him that Jesus was calling himself such. There is plenty of support for the account

  • @Knarf009 I still see no proof in front of me. LUL TRY HARDER.

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz Yeah ok, keep denying the facts right in front of you.

You're soooooo edgy, I bet you impress all the girls at the Death Cab for Cutie shows with your deep opinions.

Leave the history, theology and science to intelligent people, kid.

  • @Knarf009 They aren't facts, just you preaching stupidity.

I don't enjoy that band, nor would I hope to impress any bitches. I am a female who is engaged.

You aren't even the least bit intelligent... -shakes head-

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz It's not a fact that the Pontius Pilate existed and is supported by archaeological evidence? It's not a fact that Tiberius was the Caesar at the time that Jesus was claimed to have lived and that he referred to himself as the son of god?

Do you know anything about this period of time in history or do you just enjoy arguing about shit you know absolutely nothing about?

  • @Knarf009 No, they are facts, but not proof of Jesus's existance. Again, it is all just babble. The only thing this proves is how little of eviidence Christians need in order to prove themselves. You're all so simple minded.

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz It's not babble, it's called logic and reasoning. It's that thing you seem to have trouble applying, or rather ignore for the sake of preserving your own ignorant beliefs.

Those are just two points that lend validity to the account of Jesus. There is also the fact that if it was all made up, then why would the apostles record their failures, like when Peter rejected knowing Jesus 3 times out of fear? Obviously I can't list everything in 500 characters, so look it up yourself.

  • @Knarf009 No, I'm pretty sure you're just babbling.

I have looked it up, and it doesn't seem like much evidence to me. But what's the big deal? Why is it such a big problem that I believe something different from you?

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz When you go around spouting ignorant bullshit that one of the most important figures in human history was fictional, typically people will have a problem with that.

You haven't looked it up. You haven't done shit for research, because if you did you wouldn't have arrived at this conclusion.

And the fact you call logically reasoning on the issue "babbling" isn't helping you look like less of an ignoramus.

  • @Knarf009 Haha, stop, you're killing me! You are just too goddamn funny, I can't even take it!

Sometimes I wonder about people like you, but then again, you've made me laugh.

  • @gfc92592 We're all going to die anyways, so I'd rather live the way I want instead of in a little bubble, listening to everything a silly book tells me.

Also, the only ones going to hell are the idiots who think they are 'above God'. Meaning you, the one who is condemn us for liking something different from your taste. We won't go to hell 'because you said so'. God is the only one who can make that decision, and who says he hasn't changed since the writing of the bible?

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz Actually everyone goes to hell. Hell or Hades is just the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew "Sheol" which is the common grave of mankind. "Gehenna" is the judgment for those that lived wicked lives and it means "the second death". There is no underworld filled with fire where Satan rules and people are eternally tortured, that's a pagan idea from the Romans. The punishment for disobedience is death, just like it was for Adam and Eve.

  • @Knarf009 See, there you go. We're screwed either way, following some book or not listening to good music won't really do anything to change our fate. We should instead just follow our morales. Because if someone has bad morales, they aren't going to listen to the law or any rules anyways.

  • @zoxEmoRoXasxoz All those who die go to hades, but like Jesus, they are not to stay in hades. It even says death and hades will give up those dead in them and death and hades will be hurled into the lake of fire, the second death. Everyone will be resurrected and judged for their deeds. Those that are not found in the book of life are thrown into the lake of fire and die a second and permanent death. Rev. 20:13

Why are you even arguing with me when you don't know what you're talking about?

  • @Knarf009 I was actually agreeing with you. But I take it back now, you're a moron.

  • if anyone knows how to replicate the bass tone (amp settings whatever), please share the knowledge :)

  • Isn't that a little ironic GothClassics? posting their music then asking people to buy if they like it?

Are you aloud to post their music?

  • Done! I supported the artist 25 yrs ago when I bought this album.

  • i heard that a7x and 45 grave's song will be in call of the dead

  • Is this a cover of Morticia, or did Morticia cover them?

  • everybody was *killing* on this song. dinah, paul c, don, rob, and paul r- 45 grave at the height of it's powers.

  • 2 people are nice

  • you are evil as bubblegum, Jaime, spoiled, petulant face staring at me. I hate you! Can't share your friends cuz they are all pretend, just like you; fake ass wanna-be you!

  • Love love love love 45 grave with a passion

  • Dinah Cancer rules. Who's more punk rock? That's right... nobody.

I'd love to see one of these pop debutantes go insane one day, get really inspired by classic LA punk, throw away their 50 million dollar contract and start dressing like some undead dominatrix.

  • @kemicon I think that it can happen, since they hate their music. They only do it for the money... Umm... right! They have money! And money buy drugs! And drugs make someone do insane stuff! I think I have point here!

  • @kemicon Most of the 'big name bands' started out small and 'for the music' at some point. :B

  • This version sounds strange.

    ...cleaned up...

  • california dreaming

  • the bass line sounds like Klaus Flouride

  • I think the early American Goth scene had better music than the British scene because it stuck more to its punk roots.

    Plus, we had Rozz Williams!

  • I remember seeing this group perform on IRS' "The Cutting Edge" back in 1983, I think. This group of evil-looking characters singing about YOU being evil just struck me as hilarious. At the time, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw and heard this.

  • lets see to the two people who hated this song guess what your evil!

  • There was another version of this song on a compilation album that I like a little better. It was on the Hell Comes to Your House LP.

  • @desertrat218 I totally agree; This version has had it's testicles removed. I've owned TWO different copies of "Hell Comes To Your House" on vinyl, and they were BOTH stolen!

  • its wierd how these guys got put into the deathrock and goth genre. these guys are straight up punk rock. or at least when they started out they were

  • I've always been such a huge fan of 45 Grave, I always will. :)

  • where can i find the lyrics? nothing on google

  • good attitude, nice instrumentation, sub-par singing (even if you decide to go with the loose, off-tune style), lame lyrics. i can't decide.

  • @noronahahaha This band was a moment in time that you were either there to be a part of or you weren't. If you weren't, then you may not get it. It was like a flash in time and oh what a flash it was.

  • @bzzb0123 they still play shows all of the time

  • @spooge1234 Show's what I know. I had no idea, thanx.

  • @noronahahaha How ca you even UNDERSTAND the lyrics? lol The guitar drowns it out like crazy

  • Hope someone would post a studio version of "Violent World" from this same release. That one really gets me revved up. What software would I use to do this myself, hell.. I'd do it. I know how it can be getting multiple projects going at once & I'm sure whoever GothClassics is, has more important things to do than ablige a buncha old school punx request lists... anyone with a clue ???
