Go to the Grape vine on Sunday night when Long Black Train is play'n .Some more of Lexingtons secret.A drummer named Johnny plays like Max Wineberg and a Johnny Hiland Band keyboard player that .......get this ,doesn't play his main instrument,i.e. keyboard but rivals Mr. Hiland on guitar or at least belongs in the same room.Any locals Lexington, Ky ?Go see em' support live music.Jerry Solon Smith is the guitarist name.Someth'n special brew'n over there.
More like Lexington's nest kept secret ever. My older brother showed me an Amazing Grace tape when I was younger before I played guitar and I thought it was the funkist shit ever. Recently checked him out at Natasha's cafe here in town and got his record. NO WOUNDER he's apart of the Brian Moore team.
Lacy still resides as King of Lexington.
Lexington has a wealth of music. It's an untapped scene.
Like Austin b-4 it exploded.
Punk Metal Pop Organic R&B the list goes on. It's a very isolated and original scene there.
