Doughty has been my new favorite player since day one with the Kings. I predict 4 Norris trophies and, gods willing, a Stanley Cup with the Kings in his future. I always wonder if the Kings would have won the lottery and got the #1 pick, would Deano have taken Stamkos? I think he's glad Tampa got the pick. We won getting the #2 pick for sure.

No doubt you Kings fans have alot to be excited about. Kopitar. Johnson. Quick. Brown. And Doughty. I hate to say it, but Deano probaby would've taken Stamkos. Stamkos had a helluva year this year, but LA sure got the better deal with Doughty. Defensemen don't come into the league and dominate the way he has in just his second year. I like the Kings team. Esp since the Pens best d-man signed with them.
