We went to see Erykah at the Ottawa Bluesfest, she was scheduled to play from 8pm to 9:30 pm. By 8:30 the crowd was booing, by 8:35 half the audience had given up and started to go find seats at other shows. It was after 8:45 when she finally deigned to make an appearance,. She scowled at the audience when she took the stage. We left too. Talk about pathetic. I lost all respect for the woman. Talk about an overstuffed ego.

She was totally nice, down to earth and truly humbled by my fan-dom. She was awesome! No ego in sight that day. She was probably mad that y'all were so angry at her for being late. She was probably late for because of issues beyond her control. Erykah Badu is a human too. Don't forget.
