That's a Schindler 330A hydraulic elevator. It's slow because Schindlers often take a while to level off with the destination floor.

I remember going to ipswich station (that's in Australia) and riding an elevator down one floor which was like only three metres and the ride felt like almost half an hour long. (sigh)

The elevator at the Scanlon Building, downtown Leominster, Mass.

 It literally takes more than one minute to go a single floor. Don't know if it serves the basement, but a trek from 1'st to 3'rd takes about 2 1/2 minutes! Then again, in Burbank Hospital, Fitchburg Mass., there's a main set of hydraulics that are as fast as a high speed traction. Hard bump to start, shakes like hell going up.

it's slow because it's an hydraulic elevator and some hyrdaulic elevators are very slow.

I was also in a Slow Elevator, it's located at the DB Train Station "Königsstein (Sächs Schw)" (Not sure) at Königsstein. I think it needed >30 secs to drive up or down. (It's just one floor, anyway.)

it is slow if you compare it to a traction elevator they can go up 10 storys in 15 seconds this took 30 seconds to go up 3 floors but for hydralic its normal

It wasn't in slow motion when I uploaded it to youtube. I never realized it was all choppy until a few months after I posted this. Of course I posted it in my school's Mac Lab and the file was gone :(

Professor cleans out the comps since soooo many people leave projects and stuff on the computer. Hence, it makes the comp really slow and for people working with Final Cut, After Effects, etc it can be a pain. Since this vid was just for fun, I didn't really care much for it anymore, haha.

PROBLEM FOUND: DEEP FREEZE on those computers...its something they place inside the computer that restores the files i know, because i hate that damn "feature" but its just so they dont crash (still a SLIGHT possibility of it crashing)
