  • Was the "Q" on some sort of automatic control (like an electronic on "wail"?

  • @electroscribe no it was not

  • @heli15firehawk

Whoever was running it had a steady hand to keep activating for exactly the same length of time, over and over again without any apparent variation in the length of time of each cycle.

  • @electroscribe Great video, by the way. No audio distortion and good side window shots showing the relative speed of the rig. (no comment either way on that)

  • Cadet > Explorer

  • Taskforce, lightforce is what LAFD uses. They have 49 TF stations throughout the city. LA City use to have heavy duty task force stations not anymore. A heavy duty task force was a fully staff truck with 5 members a fully staff Engine with 4 members and fully staff 200 series engine with 4 members. Because of budget, manpower has been reduce over the yrs. A task force in today's fire department consist of 6 member light force and a 4 member engine.

  • LAFD 9's is a heavy duty task force. The only one in the city.

  • I understand a LA county " Light Task Force" But is there a "Heavy Task Force" ? If so, what does it consist of?
