i got this game back on the snes when it was "ff3" and i maxed out all my toons at 99 and got almost all of the weapons and gear, 3 genji gloves, etc... i loved the design of the pheonix cave and kefkas tower and wished they had implemented more multi-party gameplay, well hot damn, now we have the dragons den! i love it, cant wait to do it

Its almost hard like hell really! i have already tried to beat the earth dragon until 4 times w/ all char 85++, full equip n magic sklls(including rgnarok, ultima weapon, ribbon /each character, paladin shield, ecconimizer, offering, genji set, etc)and the results always end w/ '' the party has fallen''. damn!

Kaiser Dragon doesn't have 190,000 HP. You just can't damage him until he uses barrier change 5 times. In the meantime, all you can do is buff and withstand his attacks. He really isn't that hard if you can do that.

You could only get in that battle or during the World of Balance. If you didn't get it there, you can never get it.

you can steal Ragnaroks and Ultima Weapons from the third phase of the final boss battle. Because this lets you continue afterwards, you can get 99 of each. You bet Ragnarok to get Lightbringer, also.

Did anyone else find the Dragon's Den really disappointing? I played it once, and the sheer repetiveness annoyed me - I don't like hours of random encounters just to get a few cool items (and the thing with the items you get is that by this time in the game, you're so powerful you don't need them unless you want to do the Soul Shrine). Also, you don't gain magic points from fighting enemies.

The blue dragon is on ancient castle basement. you have to travel underground from Figaro Castle so the castle gonna stop, get out of castle and go all the way to ancient castle trhone room, from the queen throne (the left one (your´s right) go 2 step down (\/) and press A, then proceed and fight the blue dragon

Master's scorll wouuld be in the underground castle where you find odin/raiden magicite.

if you dont know where that is, simply take figaro castle from kolhegan to figaro or vice-versa. You will be given the option to stop halfway and get out underground via jail cell exit. Then make your way through the cave to the underground castle. to the left of the entrance is a seperate entrance leading to a room with a chest; Samari soul& master's scroll are in the chest.

Your battles are exactly why I prefer doing LLGs. Too many 9999s, too many damn Lightbringers. For me, that gets extremely boring extremely quickly.

That said, some LLG fights can also get really tedious, but I'd rather watch good 'ol Gau & Co. work their magic against something with 200 times his HP than to just 9999 everything to death in 5 turns or usually much less.

Lightbringer: Bet the "Ragnarok" sword at the Coliseum.

Ultima Weapon: There's one in a chest in the cave to the Sealed Gate in the WoB.

Master's Scroll: There's one at the Ancient Castle in the WoR.

Genji Glove: Steal one from the "Dragon" enemy on the Floating Continent (it's a rare steal), or get one at the Returner's Hideout before the rafting mission... I'm pretty sure there's another way, but I can't remember.

FYI SNES games were usually less than 4MB(they meausred in megabits so FF6 was a 32mb game)

Ultima weapon is when heading to the esper gate master scroll (offering for older version) is at odin,s castle (2nd world under water with figarocastle) genji glove you can get it from duncan when terra have the choice to join or not just say no 3 time,get one in esper cave like ultima weapon or steal it from dragon on the floating island

where can I get Lightbringer besides trading Ragnarok in the collesium and stealing it from Kefka? Even if you got one from Kefka and 1 from tading Ragnarok you still have 3 of them so there must be a way to get more. Also, is there a way to get more than 1 master's scroll?

In GBA version, you can save at the ending. Actually there is only one way to get the LIGHTBRINGER; bet Ragnarok on Coliseum. You can get in GBA version infinite Ragnaroks and Ultima Weapons on Final Boss and then save after ending. Steal those swords before Kefka (3rd tier) and watch ending. Then save.

I disagree with Relm being such a good character. She has Sketch and Control. Both of which you didn't use. Aside from that her magic power is higher than other players. But you can increase players stats by equipping certain espers and leveling up. So that is not an advantage.

Although I did notice that your characters did not have any stats maxed out from leveling up with certain espers equipped. BTW with maxed magic Meteor can now deal 9999 damage.

I say Ultima is better than Meteor, because it needs less MP and has shorter animation. And I disagree Relm being a good character too. In my save file, i didn't ever use Relm or Strago. But Strago is a "Blue Mage" on his title. He has Mighty Guard.
