Emily, how can you allow someone to turn you from God. You should have led him to God. You stated people would rather have Faith than intellengence. You can't measure intellegence nor can you measure someone's Faith, but without Faith in God we would surely be lost. No man on this earth is worth going to Hell for.
You have it wrong. God is not a religion. He is not politics. He is not here to fit anyone lifestyle. God is God and his Son Jesus Chrsit was sent to earth to suffer so that we can be saved. You talk about Christians not having answers to your questions, but God wants you to go to Him. Read the Bible yourself. Get on your knees and talk to God. He and only He can answer you. Until this happens you will be lost. Sorry Emily you and your friend need God. Without God we are nothing.
hey, like your video! But I disagree with the 'intelligence' agrument. I am from a country where atheism is uncontroversial (yes, even for politicians) and it is possible to grow up an atheist without ever having to seriously think it through. And you can be very smart without a desire for truth (funkalunatic has some interesting thoughts/speculations on that in his "intelligence versus wisdom" video), just a desire for religion. Looking forward to the next episode!
@masusomasuso Thank you for your input, I actually agree with your disagreement. What I should have made clear is that I was talking about famous religious people and famous Atheists. I used a few examples like Einstein, Dawkins and for the opposition I used examples like Ted Haggard and Osama Bin Laden. Very religious people have no rational decision making which causes them to do "stupid" things. Then again, this episode was all improvised with no structure. We want the world like your country
