  • I dont believe you had AC 3 separation. I would know. I had an ac 3 separation about a month ago, and its still difficult to pick up stuff. plus, my bump on my shoulder is more visible. You most likely had a 2nd degree separation (some tears in the ligaments). in my ac 3 separation, my ligaments were torn. i just started doing my rehab. well, best of luck.

  • i have no medical experience so i am just relaying what the hospital told me. what your saying could very well be true

  • was your separation visible? as in you could see ur collar bone popping out? if so did it subside? reason i ask is cause i have a grade 2 possibly 3 and it's been 4 days since my accident and my collar bone is still visibly pushing up my skin

  • at the time it was not predominantly visible, but now you can see a difference, still not huge though

  • wow that has gotta suck, i got a concusion on that same wall ride at pats peak

  • this walls a bitch it fucked me up too

  • I have a 2nd degree AC joint separation. How long did yours take to heal? btw your a soldier for that fall.

  • i actually went snowboarding again the next weekend haha but thats just me. it honestly didnt take long which im told is somewhat miraculous. it never really hurt even when i hit the ground and i snowboarded down. but i would say it took like 2 months to get full mobility back and for the discomfort to stop. sorry it took so long to get back to you i was at boot camp
