I got 50 just a few minutes ago, the trick is to start building a bit later, and to disconnect the last two balls from the remaining ones, so they get sucked in.

I wonder if it's possible to get more when making sure that dark black goo will be on skull goo part of the structure before detaching it from black goo structure?

Maybe... However this seems to me very difficult to move 2 black goos connected each other with just 4 skull goos. And to make all the dark black goos go on this connection, it looks insane... :x
