i cant't get enough of this soothing song. the way the whole commercial is put together going slow mo' and then letting it rip at the end is truly a piece of art. i also like how they followed up with the car with that kind of unstable camera angle. props to the people in charge of this commercial.

Regarding the song used for this commercial, I contacted Audi directly @ 800-367-2834 and requested the name of the song, the artist, or composer so I might use this music in my wedding. I spoke with a very nice customer service rep. and it was explained to me that the music was made especially for Audi. There is no extended version, only the 30 seconds of music you hear during the commercial. However, several calls were placed to Audi requesting this music...

Truly outstanding composition. IMHO, this leaps past the 1 minute A4 Progress "Living Room" commercial music. FYI, Audi's agencies typically hire out custom music, so it's not likely this is on an album anywhere. But, we can all hope. :)

I want a luxury car with class, and Audi just proved that it lacks that. I dont understand why Audi feels the need to throw mud in their competers faces, Audi makes some of the best, coolest, cars on the face of the earth, and I really use to like them, but now, Audi is a bit to cocky for me, this actually makes me want to buy a Mercedes.

jwatwater, there have been numerous occasions in the past where Bimmer and Merc have thrown their competitors into the ground in commercials. Audi is finally fighting back. I feel Audi is superior to Lex (bleah!), BMW, and Merc (although I do like this brand as well). More people need to know that.

Great car this new A4! the new 2.0 TFSI engine is really superior to what the competitions got.

It appears the guys who made the commercial kind felt the same way. You see how they put their German competitors neck-and-neck behind the A4 and the Lexus way in the back like, "'Oh yeah we almost forgot about you guys."

Audi is a superior machine, but in terms of market success, it is an underdog (strange, I know!). So in it's commercials it has to mention how it relates to top-of-the-line analogues, i.e., how it's better. However, the company with market dominance wouldn't mention less successful competitors because it would be counterproductive-they'd be giving those competitors air time. That is why Audi makes those claims, at least for that class anyway. Mine drives quite well, but a Merc is a Merc, too.
