Remender once said in an End League lettercol that that title would not only continue throughout '09 -10 but it would be a regular monthly, which was great news for me since I really liked it, then he cancels it cuz he's with the big boys now...sux

It was best capt America was dead ... Nothing against him or the comics never really read one. I'm just not american so the book never did it for me. Plus I'm pretty sure Canada tried their own version but theres no actual situations you could put him into. Only like the beaver population is down go force them to mate and make your nation proud. I never understood why it wasn't as big as Capt. America

@JoeSomebody2 Because keeping him DEAD wasn't the point. If you've been reading since issue #1 of Brubakers Cap series, then you would have picked up on all the subtle clues which led up to Caps "Death" and return.

In short, Brubaker had all this planned out. It wasn't just: "I think I will kill off Captain America!" "Eh, now I'm bored with this plot, I think I'll bring him back now." That's how Bendis works, not Brubaker.

Whatever the reason for killing and returning characters to life, it gets old...fast. It would have been a momentous occasion and shocking way to end the story, but no, it all works out in the end.

And if you're going to bring Cap back, why not Bill Foster, who was also killed? Do we only draw the line on popular characters? So if Wolverine FINALLY dies, he would just come back next week?

Heheh... I needed a nice long break. Making the show takes up ALL my time, so I had to relax and take a breath ;) I was always planning to come back on this day... I plan episodes WAAAAY in advance. Happy you're happy I'm back :)

"You think this letter on my belly stands for France." Haha. Loved it. I think the art for Captain America is a perfect match. I hope the movie turns out well. Too bad they have to call it The First Avenger because America in the tile is too offensive for people. Personally I think the first movie should take place in WW2 and end with him falling in the ocean. Then they can lead into him in the present time. I still miss Frank Quietley's art in Batman and Robin.

That line was Rudy's touch... I was so excited to do this skit! Next week should be awesome too, I'm editing it right now :) Frank Quitely's the man... so I can understand. Are you at least going to give Cameron Stewart a chance, though? He IS pretty awesome!

I love The Walking Dead! But as I've started re-reading all of the issues I've noticed that the dialog isn't the greatest. Like how they always explain what their doing too much which makes it so they don't sound like people in real life would. Kirkman should just let Adlard tell that through his art if he did that The Walking Dead would be perfect but its still my favorite comic although I still haven't read too many yet but I'm getting their.

If you like the Walking Dead but aren't completely sold on it, try reading XXXombies by Rick Remender and Tony Moore! It's one of my (Casey) faves... it's not serious, though, it's a hellovalotta fun.
