The older models have the two twirly things; one on top and the bottom. I have this one. If you want to turn off the dry option press the specific cycle button you want "two times' you will see the dry option light turn off. To dry: open the door at the end of the cycle, pull the tray out and the dishes will dry. Hang a Jet dry on the dish rack and the dishes will dry even faster when the door is opened after the cycle is complete.

not all countertop dishwashers are that high and do drain with a real drain pump and they will fit underneath the counter too.. bosch and siemens makes brilliant machines and they will fit inside a 60 cm wide closet, but yes that exact model right there has been puked by satan himself, its terrible terrible terrible, get rid of it and buy a real countertop dishwasher, you´ll be happy and so will your dishes ;))))))))

i belong to a place where most people wash utensils by hand washing and i also have never used any dishwasher ever nor i ve ever seen it at anybody's home.In the summer season handwashing of utensils is ok but in winter my hands gets swollen and at times they bleed due to being in contact with cold water.So i think think this shud be more advertised and rates should be cheap enough for everyone to afford it.
