Poplar Grove's 30's vintage hangar was moved from my hometown of Waukesha, WI. The Waukesha Aviation Club had our museum in the hangar for many years. The building had a contol tower added on the roof, and the local FBO operated from it. The airport commission wanted a new tower and terminal so when they rebuilt the main runway, they aligned it so that the old hangar would be a hazard for the ILS and had to go. Waukesha County Airport has since become another all-business corporate airport.
