  • Hi Biff! Another exceptional video! Love that Cobra tone arm, great jazzy tune and that flapper business! Clever as they come!

  • First Class recording !!

  • Great record and a wonderful radiola!

  • KFAB was (and still is) an AM radio station in Omaha, Nebraska (1110 kHz). They were probably touring and did a recording session at the Brunswick studios in Chicago. Quite rare since this is the only record they ever made.

  • @bsgs98 Thanks for your valuable info Bill. I wondered if this station was still going!

  • Thank you for bringing the 20s to life with this fab video, BIff! Great hot tune and sweet pictures. I love her hat and your gramophone!!

  • This Liza is SIZZLING HOT and SMOKIN...!

Love this Toe Tapper and that Cobra Arm... SSSssssssssssssss :-)

    Great Post.

    Thank you Biff

  • @2reeler this is the first time I see "a cobra" playing. great video.

  • @Atticus70 So it IS a real band! From Chicago too! Thanks a million Atticus! It may not be Goodman, but Hot just the same! I'm so happy to have this information! Hope you enjoyed it! Gracias!

  • @2reeler I did indeed! You can tell whats going on! The photos of Betty Amann are just INCREADABLE!!! I just LOVE the style of this era!!! I LOVE THE LARGE TONE ARM!!!

  • @roybo1930 thanks Beef. I love that look of cute flappers! The 1929 RCA "cobra" tone arm was liscensed by the Atwater Kent radio company to appear on their model 75 radiola you see here. It's a cool look. thank you for the nice comments!

  • Biff! a AWESOME Brunswick record playing on one heck of a AWESOME Victor machine! This is so clear and crisp! I LOVE IT!!!

  • this is a great post. love the tune, the player and betty. thanks for sharing.

  • @bill3murr You are very welcome Bill. I am wondering if this band is a pseudonym for Ben Pollack or Jean Goldkette, and if thats possibly Benny Goodman on the clarinet? What do you think? If its Pollack, it could be Teagarden playing the opening trombone melody straight off the sheet with no improv.

  • @bill3murr Glad you enjoyed watching it Bill! Thanks for leaving a nice comment!

  • Sweet! Thank you for sharing!!!
