  • We all know the two hippies are "Klinger" and "Father Mulcahy" from M*A*S*H, however, another one of the hippies was also "Ernest T. Bass" from The Andy Griffith Show, who also directed the movie.

  • Was that Vic Tayback at 2.22?

George Carlin was in the movie, too. He worked the closing shift at the drive-in.

"Buy anything you want, and I'll only charge you for a donut" : D

  • @zzyzxx13 Vic Tayback (Mel of Alice) was indeed in this film. He has been an many many many other films. I saw one (can't recall the title) with him in it but was filmed in the 1950's. He looked so different then.

  • how does she drive with those hippies blocking her windsheild?

  • That's probably why she crashed. That and the fact that the chicken truck driver can't drive worth a crap. lol

  • Could you post the whole thing?

  • Could you post the part with Uncle Bill running down the street in his underwear?

  • he was carrying a teddy bear? maybe it was radar.

  • Klinger and Father Mulcahey from M*A*S*H as hippies!!!

  • I know. I'm still trying to work that one out too. They're still cool though. Nice to see them in something completely different from M*A*S*H.

  • And the truck driver apparently mugged Radar for his hat and coat, lol!

  • @doglips1958 OH YEAH!!!!...also "Mel" (victor tayback) from "alice" at 2;25 bitchin out Doris Day!

  • I wonder what would happen if they ever re-made this film like they did with yours, mine and ours? Not that I want them too at all. I am guessing they'd omit everything except this chase scene and make it totally unbelievable
