I don't get why people feel the need to critique anything to do with dressage. Why can't they just appreciate a well ridden test and a beautiful harmonious combination when they see it?
Loved loved loved the combination!! Very nice test! Must say I thought the music was remixed a little badly though, which affected the test for me (despite the fact she won) It just seemed to change and swap with no real flow, in comparison with her riding which flowed brilliantly. Check out the walk transition at 2:13 It was FLAWLESS! :) Great video as usual Peter, this is gooood stuff :-) xx
at the beginnig i thought it was another grand prix test (lool i didnt read the description and subtitles) but then i thougt to myself this looks like an intermidiate test and it is xD that was a great intermidiate test!! they should work on it some more untill the next show and try to get a score in the 80s or high 70s before moving up to showing the next level. i dont get what ppl are saying about tuked under this was a great test especially for that lvl!
The horse is quite engaged for that level and as you said fluid and happy. hard to compare with the other freestyle videos I have been putting up as they are all Grand Prix. This horse is working 2 levels below. Given the age of the horse and the rider I see a big future for both of them.
"Tucked under" is not a term used in dressage in Australia 9unless referring to a horse behind the bit). I had assumed it meant engagement which is part of collection but as I stated above for the level the horse is working it is engaged and collected as the international judges scored it close to 70%.
Sorry, but "tucked under" has nothing to do with collection. This horse had a suitable (high) degree of collection for this level. What on earth is supposed to be "tucked under"? Its nose? its tail? The only thing that should ever be "tucked under" is ignorance - or bedsheets.
Back end. Not strung out. A collected horse will drop its hindquarters some. I guess tucked under could be just a way of describing that. I agree with you though. This horse has great collection for his level.
YAYY! hahaha That was really cool. Loved the music!!! :O and that horse looked really up for what it was doing!! HAHA If you ever see her, could you ask her what version of requiem for a dream that was PAHAHA ROFL. Great filming peter even though the horse was bombing around. 5/5

Also, that first song sounds like Wagner's 'O-Fortuna'.

At some parts it seemed like this horse was less tucked under...like she wasnt engaging her back enough but she seemed fluid and happy...
beautiful video woznme...your videos never cease to amaze me!

Terrific vid as usual, Peter!

Tucked under or collected. Collection is a major aspect of dressage. :)
