Hey asian brother!! I tore my left achilles tendon on June 8th 2011. It's now been 7 months and i can barely raise my heal off the ground. My specialist opted for no surgery, as it was higher in the tendon, and said that putting in a cast right away would eventually be the same. Keep up the work my man!

you dont know how much you inspired me with the hiphop routine with twitch. i stoped dancing and taking classes for a year now not that i dont like dancing anymore. its that no one will take me and no one whould pay for my classes, im by the way. everyday now i am stretching and dancing. i use to love hiphop now you made me love it more. dancing is my pasion and ill never stop. thank you for making me see that. you are crazy talented andi wish you all the best with your leg.

Hi Alex! How does it hurt to rupture an achilles? I mean do people faint from the huge pain?(I assume it is such a huge pain that it makes people faint)....how many times can a person rupture an achilles, like 10 times or more, or some are unable to walk after they rupture it once?I wish you well, you dance as if gravity had no effect on you...so great and I cannot find words to describe the way you dance....I TRULY AM AWESTRUCK!Cheers mate!:)

not agaiinn aww :( . i got the same thing as you when i was dancing ive been lucky cuz it was only half of my achilles so i didnt need surgery but it came back 6months later , you always need to be careful when it happens one time . A similar thing happened to my sister. She broke the same wrist nearly four years to the day that she had broken it the first time. I hope you get better soon and have some injury free time coming your way.

Last year, I immediately recognized you as the star that you are, and with your optimistic attitude and talent, it’s no wonder that you’re such a popular dancer. I feel weird liking this video. I was actually in strong disbelief when they announced your accident on so you think you can dance, like it was some sort of cruel joke..but i guess it's not. i quit watching sytycd after you had to leave the show. you are one of the best dancers ever and i really look up to you as a rather young dancer. i had to quit after a twelve year career after my fifth injury, a broken foot. i feel like a part of me is missing when i can't dance. i really hope you get better! you still have such an amazing career ahead of you and i will always be one of your biggest fans! get well soon alex!(:

After searching for videos on how you have been doing since the accident last year, I was hoping to see you coming back as an All Star this year. It's truly depressing and incredibly unfortunate that this has happened to you again. You are truly the most exceptional dancer and I hope that you have a speedy and successful recovery. not agaiinn aww :( . i got the same thing as you when i was dancing ive been lucky cuz it was only half of my achilles so i didnt need surgery but it came back 6months later , you always need to be careful when it happens one time . I wish thats everythings gonna be fine for you soon because you're an amazing dancer and that would be super cool to see you in StepUp 4 ♥

My dad did that playing basketball, and he still has a limp cuz he didn't exercise. Make sure you let it heal. You have to stay awesome.

My first reaction when i heard about your injury was "OH COME ON!!" i was so excited to see you again after a whole year i wanted to kick something when I found out i wouldn't get to see you dance. I've had ton of ankle injuries but I can only imagine what you're going through. I pray you have a quick full recovery and come back better than ever. When Nigel Lythgoe announced your injury on SYTYCD, I thought, “wtf?” I was kinda in denial, hoping that he was just joking and that you would make a surprise appearance on stage. Last year, I immediately recognized you as the star that you are, and with your optimistic attitude and talent, it’s no wonder that you’re such a popular dancer. Everybody overuses the word 'amazing" these days, so I'm just gonna say that you are extraordinary! You are an unbelievably talented dancer, and a kind soul to take the time to talk to your fans only days after a serious injury. i quit watching sytycd after you had to leave the show. you are one of the best dancers ever and i really look up to you as a rather young dancer. i had to quit after a twelve year career after my fifth injury, a broken foot. i feel like a part of me is missing when i can't dance. i really hope you get better! you still have such an amazing career ahead of you and i will always be one of your biggest fans! get well soon alex!(:

I was so shocked when I heard it. I feel for you! My brother basically went through the same thing. He played soccer and something went wrong with his knee. He got surgery, rehab and all that stuff, then started playing again for a little while and then the same thing happened to his other knee.
I know he was devasted, and let me tell you: it was no fun living in the same house with him. So please just stay positive. You are amazing and soon enough you´re gonna be able to dance again!
