Rick Dangerous is a jerk. He has a massive smirk on his face as he brutally shoots and blows up natives. All because he crashed his plane in their jungle.
Man I have no idea how many times I have played this, it was SO HARD, I got the the end ONCE, and then I had ran out of dynamite and couldnt blow up the control panel. What a game!! An adult could never play it cause he would go crazy, you need the mentality of a kid to not get sick of dying all the time.
It's just not the same without the natives screaming "WAAAhhhh!" when they get killed (Amiga version).
I like Rick Dangerous, but the games were really unfair. You had to use trial and error until you learned exactly which holes you could drop into, which way to move on the way down, etc.
didn't know the vid player blurs the image... it's the same "improving" of quality that so-called "clear-type" fonts in windows are... blurry shit, lol
i wonder why they did hi-res backgrounds and lo-res foregrounds..kind of an odd decision

Hm first lvl on commodore was quicker as I remember, than for example on Amiga. On Amiga, you had a few stages more in first lvl, right?
