  • This movie is based on a true story, right? I wonder if this particular scene is actually based on true events...........

  • Never piss off Simba

  • This movie is so intense. This scene in particular is friggin' scary. I love how mythical the people make the lions, like they are demons unleashing punishment. Thrilling stuff.

  • Useless shooters, can't hit a shit...

  • noobs.

  • The flaming eye still creeps me out

  • @KibaFreewolf

Try to get an illustrated version, I didn't and felt like I was missing out.

  • @KibaFreewolf

amazon has it, it's very good

  • They are asshole Indians not Africans...lol

  • Maybe if they had one guy who could aim.

  • They need a machine gun

  • They were murderers and criminals, not hunters. There's a world of difference.

  • @curly27784

yeah but they were crack shots, the reason the missed was becasue they were afriad, becasue of the lion and its manner, plus everytime the lion hits the bars they shoot forward a little which is also why many shots hit the bars or missed the lion.

  • I just saw this movie for the first time and what I think I liked best was how the movie got such strong reactions out of me. Unless it's a bad movie and there is some deliberate joking going on I rarely respond out loud to films, but I had a hard time not yelling at the screen sometimes.

  • you know at that distance... a lions roar can leave you deaf for a period of time... the creepiest part is how it stares at them...

  • terribly unrealistic.

  • @almightywitey How is it terribly unrealistic? They used this contraption originally to trap them before they were killed

  • I see the movie yesterday on tv.. it's a good movie !

  • My favourite part 2:09 where the lion dodge the bullet. And the last bit as if the lion was looking at the men's souls. Thanks for the upload!

  • we've been hunting since childhood my ass they didnt even hit the damm thing once i can understand under pressure and darkness but he couldve put the barrel down the lions ass through the bars and fire

  • ever notice at 2:20 the guys eyes are glowing O.O

  • oh my god!!!!! they suck at aiming and shooting .... every shot hit the bars

  • he wasnt there to hut them, atleast not then he was there to send a message

  • Only thing wrong is that these lions should've been maneless

  • @jrriojase

yeah. they try using the real maneless lions but they're hard to tame. so for the safety of the crew n actors they use well trained lions. Bongo and Caesar.

  • at 2:42 AMAZING it looks like a devil !!!

  • this scene is from the true story too, some men were in these box cars when one of the maneater lions came and even though he was locked up, the men inside were too scared to even hit the lion once, they shot the chain that held the lion and it escaped with minor injuries....

  • the should learn how to quick scope ;)

  • I could almost imagine the screen writing discussion.

"Okay, there's three trained fighters, "murderers and criminals", we'll call them. Let's place these three guys in a perfect entrapment that doesn't allow the Lion to move, then, let's have the Lion attack the trap cage literally 4 feet in front of them. Listening? Okay, good. Now here's the real twist: Let's make these three black guys completely fucking incompetent and have not a SINGLE bullet actually hit it's target. "Not one?" Not one.

  • @BlaxicanX there Indian not black lol

  • @blacklion105 I was in the heat of the moment, leave meh alone!

  • @BlaxicanX Sorry mr heat in the moment just correcting your mistake...wouldn't been better you said true..instead of geting emotional?

  • @blacklion105

Real men don't admit their mistakes!

  • @BlaxicanX No real men do admire there mistakes...its called Change

  • @BlaxicanX Its also called Truth

  • @blacklion105 Don't bring Jehovah's Witnesses into this discussion!

  • @BlaxicanX Never did brother lol

  • What a stupid fucking scene. Three guys with guns, with ALL the time in the world, and not a single fucking one of them can hit a target 5 feet in front of them?

It would be only slightly (very slightly) less ridiculous if not for the fact that Mr. Awesomesawce white man doesn't end up killing them both damn near by himself in the end.

  • @BlaxicanX You do know that this really happened? They were four feet away from the lion, let out numerous shots, and only slightly wounded the lion before it escaped.

  • @darkmage7280

That's what I've heard. That would make more sense though then just having not a single shot hit it though. That's just irritating.

  • @BlaxicanX True, that.

  • @darkmage7280

    i dont understand..

    male lions dont hunt..

    but these lions are hunting..

  • @hissetveoyna

    Male lions hunt.

  • @hissetveoyna

there rouges (man eaters) they do not belong to a pack so there are no lionesses to hunt, they do it themselves just like the original 2 that patterson killed

  • this is gay Tsavo lions didn't have manes

  • Humane society wouldn't allow them to shave the manes if I remember correctly.

  • @Pumablues2525 ur joking that actually true cause if it is that is sad

  • The story I heard was that the production crew wanted to buzz the manes down in comparable stature to the actual Tsavo lions, but when they consulted the likes of the humane society or comparable groups they advised against it.

As for whatever reason I don't know. It's not like it would do any worse for them then being kept as animal actors. Lions belong in the wild in my mind, where they can kill shit.

  • haha trueness

  • u are right they didnt have manes

  • It's creepy when they see the lion on the other side, and it just stands there for a minute, staring at them. o__o

  • Pretty decent trap.

  • rofl that we're not there, but they "say" its a true story.... hence the end of the movie

  • It would seem so, my ex talked me through this movie & she said that male lions never share hunting ground. Like that these two lions were like serial killers, lol, kind of makes the movie more terrifying that "ghost" & "darkness" can team up.. nature gone wrong? Watch the whole movie if you can find it for free, but don't drop a dime into the pocket of a WMG lawyer,

  • You have an ex? What happened, did she pass the age of 13 and so you decided to break up with her? Pervert!

  • dvdluvr, you are a true freak.

  • this movie was fun when it was on youtube, but seems that those lawyering motherfuckers of wmg have struck again. Worth .99 cents, On EBAY??? I think not.

  • I guess the lion likes spicy food.

  • I'd be scared shit less, though I bet I could actually hit one, not saying I would kill it...

  • kill the white man. kill the lepros dog. the beast and wicked of the earth. you deserve to die with blood on your hands. christ is the lion. burn your religion and beliefs. die the death of a serpent.

  • Lions scare the crap outta me. The state I lived in in my country (Tanzania) had a national park. I was so scared that one day a lion might pop out of nowhere and just attack me. But that never happened since they lived like miles and miles away isolated with other animals. Phew!

  • fucking coward indians

  • hey fuck u alright, u cant jugde an entire nation because of this movie u fucktard, i'd like to see wat u do when there's a lion near u and u have limited supplies or no supplies at all u fking douche, dont judge

  • better watch the mouth, faggot

  • yea, maybe i should, when ur the one whos insulting an entire nation u dipshit, so wat ur mouth, faggot

  • one of the best movies ever made..

  • love this movie

  • Kill all Lions. The only one that is true Lion is the one on the English Royal shield.

  • cant belive non of them could actualy hit the lion

  • @weemana27 Much like the scene in the last samurai with tom cruise, he demonstrated that the soldier wasn't ready for what he was up against. These three may have been hunting since childhood and may have been "killers and criminals" but they probably never saw a nine-foot long lion that close before. I would imagine a sharpshooter having a little difficulty with that kind of pressure

  • @weemana27 That's true. Starting from 2:37 they even made the lion looked cursed with an evil stare and a deafening roar forcing the man to drop his own gun just to cover up his ears XD LOL!! That was a bit cheesy to me for someone to react like that in a exaggerated way but, i tell you right now i wouldn't even waist a single bullet trying to hit that lion if i was in that situation..

  • im uploading the movie now

  • can anyone upload the movie please

  • devil lion,

    freaking scary beast

  • I remember watching this when I was younger, it was terrify. My brother and I were freaked out for a while...LOL. But this movie a flipping sweet, and it's true that's what amazing.

  • Revelation 5:5

and one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals."

  • What does that have to do with anything?

  • lmao

  • Oh don't get started with that nonsense, you're starting to sound like the locals whenever there's a maneater attack.

  • This movie still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. And it is a true story. Was a great movie!

  • I concur.

  • Loool teh flamez in teh eyez - sheer terror liek wo :p

  • Pretty scary. Too bad they didn't have gas grenades. They could have just left the box car and killed it that way.

  • WHAT A CONFUSED BUNCH
