It's really cute from 2:38 - 2:51. 5/5? :) But still the meerkats do not look realistic at all. They forgot the black around their eyes and stripes on their back.

Without a doubt, one of the best,, and original video clips I've seen in many a long day. One very minor point, in the wild, bees don't make a colony like that, it's wasps and hornets who do. Also wasps don't gather honey either! But that's all nit-picking, after all, it's a great effort.

Again, smooth out the animation. It's almost like watching it somewhere between stepped and splined. Not quite there yet. A little choppy in places like arm and leg movements.

Lastly, Never, Ever add perverse scenes in your reel. its the best way to not get a job. As funny as it may have been. Don't do it.

I'm going to be honest because i'm a 3D artist as well. The animation needs alot of smoothing out. Even though this is an animation reel, your background textures shouldn't blend so much with the characters. Try to create some contrast between the two.

i also have an animated movie, its a 3d one, graphics look like a halo mixed with unreal tournament, it however took me 3 months non-stop.
