dude you're pretty good! i'm so excited to be at AMD next year! i'm a tap dancer too haha i don't think you're doing anything wrong but if you go on your toes more when you're doing shuffle hops it makes it so you don't hear the heel clcking and just hear the shuffle and makes it sound cleaner. and with the toe wings if you think of it as standing on your toes after the double slap back it makes it a tad easier, but that's just a hard move in general haha
you are a great tapper. There is nothing wrong with your steps, just think lighter. your beatin up the boards dude. Think of Freddy, look at how light and breezy he looks. He floats on his metal. I always try to be half Freddy and half Gene, that way you get a great combonation of light, sofisticated tapping that is perfect for musical theatre. But in all seriousness, you have some skills man, great job.
