@Hobnomb Actualy she is the bad girl and he is neutral.

In Rappelz there are 3 'races'. The Deva, the Gaia, and the Asura.

Deva are descendants and followers of the Gods of light. Both priests and knights, while the Asura (the girl in the vid) are descendants and followers of the gods of discord or something like that. Black Mages and Assasins. The Gaians are neutral and don't have a god. They are your avarage humans cought up in the middle, you could say. Shamans and heavy Warriors and such.

could be, would explain the haircolour and that magic blue light, but her fighting style is so untypical for Deva that is why I have doubts and think she's Asura.

@kauyun yeah the blonde hair n the bluish aura..she does seem to fight like an assassin though..but she uses a one handed sword instead of dual wielding....strange..however..­soldiers do have attacks such as the ones she used! anyway its rather subjective as there is no sure fire answer..n well u can change the hair colour in this game!

@kauyun ok, the guy is ASURA, and the girl is DEVA. She is a deva holy warrior/soldier. While he is a battle summoner, i dunno why he is using an axe, but no gaia class looks like him. His skin is clearly asura. also, asura is not BAD, deva is not GOOD. the Witch is bad. deva, asura and gaia, are all neutral/good.

@SnareDrummer26 However the Armor and choice of weapon doesn't fit the characteristics of the Asura. That is why I think he's a Gaia. Both Color&shape of the armor and the weapon fits in there.

And the girls style is not realy all paladin-like as we know it from the Deva don't you think? So when looking at both fighting Style and equipment, it should be obvious.

And of course the Asura as descendants of Gods of chaos and destruction are not evil.

well, I think there is a major difderence in WoW and Rappelz. The best of 'em is, Rappelz is for free.^^

But for once (one thing I don't think is good) in Rappelz you can only play humanoid beeings no 'Metha-humans'

(as we Pen'n'Paper RPG-Gamers say in Germany) as Orks or such.

I mean, as a pen'n'paper role player I just think it's boring to have a all human party. The conflict between Dwarves and Elves for example are always a funny thing to watch if you play in a creative group.

So a mixed-race group tend to give a certain group-dynamic you can't have with a all human crew. Also, it lends some depth to the group, and every single character.

I for example like to play Dragonborn in D&D.

1. deva doesn't have a knigh....it's called strider (ane eventually assassin or shadow hunter)

2. i agree on the hair colour...asuras don't have blonde colour....but notice the gaia warrior's hair too-grey (gaias don't have grey hair)

well it is hard to say because she is out of any usual sheme. usualy you won't find blond Asuras, however her armor and sword are a dead give-away for her race.

(and her fighting style if you aske me, the Deva fighting style is pretty balanced while the Gaia fight relativley open and the Asura very fast, with many feints)
